"You're not going to like this buddy." Baily said with a frown.

Ryder examined his hand curiously and held it up to his dad.

Damon chuckled. "Hand," he took his hand.

"Hand," Ryder repeated, looking at his hand.

Baily smiled, kissing Ryder's hand also.

Damon smiled lovingly at his mate.

Baily smiled and kissed his lips before going back to her pizza.

Damon smiled and played with Ryder while Baily ate.

Baily put the plate on the floor when she was done and smiled at the boys, watching Damon play with their son.

((Sure. I was sort of thinking that since they were having a girl, she could be different. Like, more powerful, more stelthy. And, that Ryder could fall for her.))

Ryder splashed in the pool in the underground compound. "Mommy, when's Daddy gonna teach me how to fight," he asked her, swimming toward her in his inner tube.

"Soon baby. I promise. Daddy's not here." Baily smiled, walking towards her son in the pool.

"Where did he go this time, Mommy," he asked her, looking up at her.

"To make sure it was safe for me and Auntie Fairly to go back to America. I miss it." she explained.

Ryder thought about that for a moment and looked scared. "Are you gonna leave me here, mommy," he asked, reaching for her. He didn't want to be without either of his parents.

She took her son into her arms, holding him close dispite his inner tube. "No... Of course not. You're going to come with me."

He clung to his mommy. "What about Olivia? Is she coming, too?"

"Yes, Olivia is comming also. Everyone is going." She said.

"What's in America, mommy," he asked her, looking up at her.

"Lots of things." she smiled. "There's New York and there's Hollywood and theres my old home."

"You didn't used to always live here," he asked her, wanting to know more. He always asked a lot of questions.

She shook her head. "Nope. Things became dangerous for me and aunty Fairly back home so Daddy and Uncle Niko brought us here. So that we all would be safe."

"What was dangerous about it," he asked.

"there was a bad guy who wanted to hurt Dad and Uncle Niko." she said.
