"You won't be for long. I love you. Bye, sweetheart," he told her softly before he hung up the phone, flying as fast as he could. He'd be there much sooner than an hour, he wanted to surprise her. He'd all of her favorite foods and bring them to her, along with the donuts. He did so, arriving half an hour before she'd expect him home. "Hungry, love?" He smiled, holding up bags and bags of food.

Fairly looked at him, smiling. "What is all that?" she asked.

"I got all your favorite foods. That I know of, at least," he smiled. "I thought I'd surprise you. And I have great news," he grinned evilly. "Where's Damon and Baily? They'll want to hear this too."

"Uhm, Ryder started saying mom, so they're with him." she said, feeling a bit of longing.

"Oh, sweetheart," he murmured, putting her food down and pulling her close. "We'll have one of our own soon," he promised, kissing her softly. "I'll spoil you and the baby," he smiled.

She nodded. "I know." she smiled, welcoming his embrace. "What's your news? What happened?"

"Dragos is dead," he smiled. "No sign of the ancient yet, though. But we don't ahve to hide anymore. Dragos was the one after us. His rogues, and all his minions died with him."

Faily smiled and hugged him. "Oh baby! I'm so proud of you."

He smiled and held her close, kissing her lovingly.

She smiled, kissing back. "Go tell Damon, He'll be thrilled."

He shook his head. "Let him be occupied with is mate and kid. I have to take care of my mate," he kissed her lovingly.

She kissed back, smiling. "Are you sure? This is big news." she said, pulling back.

"You're more important," he told her. "Your heart is much more important."

She smiled and kissed him. "I love you so much."

"I love you, too," he kissed her. "let me putt he food away and I'll meet you in the bedroom," he smiled.

She nodded. "I'll take the doughnuts." She smiled. "Baily wanted some also."

He chuckled. "Alright, love," he kissed her and handed her the box of donuts."

She smiled. "I'll also tell Damon that you killed him." she said, walking up the stairs.

"Thank you, love," he smiled, taking the bags of food to the kitchen.

Fairly nodded, taking the doughnuts up to Damon and Baily again. She knocked, expecting Damon to answer like he did. It must have been a protective thing since Niko wouldn't let her answer any doors either.

Damon answered again, this time fully dressed. He blinked. "you went and got donuts!? Nikos' gonna fuckin' kill me!"

Fairly smiled, deciding to tease him more. "Do you want one?" she asked, holding up the box.

He wrinkled his nose. "No, that smells disgusting. Like dirt with extra sugar," he snorted. "Go give some to Baily, though. She's hungry, too."

Fairly smiled and scooted past him, going to Baily who eagerly went for the doughnuts.

"Oh, and Niko asked me to tell you that he killed that one Dragos guy." she said, smiling at Damon.

"He did what?" Damon stared at her, shocked. "He's dead? Wait a minute, where is Niko? He left?"
