It's a Love Story

He smiled. "Ohh, can I see," he grinned, kissing her cheek.

Ren went to her room to change into the outfit that Rose had picked out for her to wear tonight. A cute sundress with matching slip-ons. Rose helped her with her hair when she was done.

Lilli smiled, slowly unbottoning her blouse so he could see the new lacey push up bra. They were alone and she wanted some time with her husband.

"Rosie!!!!" Roman called out then appeared in Rose's bed room door. "I have nothing to wear...."

He smiled and kissed her, pulling her close. "I like it," he murmured against her lips. "I really like it."

Rose put some final touches on Ren's hair and went to help her sister. "Hmm... Wear your longer shirt with shorts underneath with a belt around your waist. It'll look kinda like a toga," she chuckled, though she was also serious.

Lilli smiled, nodding. "I thought you might." she said softly.


"Wow..... funny..." Roman mumbled though went to put on the clothes her sister suggested.

Mike chuckled and pulled her closer.

Rose laughed and got dressed, herself. She wore a longer shirt, skinny jeans, and cowboy boots.

She smiled, kissing her husband.

Jon knocked on Rosie's door. "Rose... Can I come in? You've had my girl friend in your clutches all day."

"I'm getting dressed, hold on a sec," she told her brother. She turned, looking at herself in the mirror before she nodded in approval and opened the door. "Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Cassie, Uncle Brandon [i think that's his name..], and the twins will be over soon. So will Pavo," she said louder, teasing Rome.

"Shut up!" Roman yelled, obviously tired of having people tease her about Pave already.

Jon looked at his sister. "That's great and news we all know. Can I see Ren now?"

[why do i always forget that? x.x *writes myself a sticky note*]

Rose snickered and nodded. "You can have your girl now, she's all dressed up," she let her brother in so she could go fix up her own hair.

Ren was sitting on Rose's bed, relaxing. She smiled at Jon when she saw him, happy to see him.

Jon smiled at Ren. "Wanna go on a walk with me?"

Ren smiled and walked over to him. "Would you mind me spending a little time with Jon," she asked Rose, not wanting to be rude.

"Sure, go ahead," Rose smiled at her.

Ren smiled and turned her attention back to Jon.

Jon smiled more and once in the hall, he took her hand and kissed her knuckles. She seemed a bit warm. "You feeling okay?" he asked.

She nodded. "Yeah, why," she asked him, looking at him curiously. His mom had asked her the same thing when they were leaving the mall.

"I don't know. You feel warm. And you do look a little pale." he said.

"Really," she asked, feeling her own forehead. "But I feel okay... I won't run around at the barbeque tonight, I promise," she told him, not wanting to be left alone. She liked his family and didn't want to be away from them. She felt safe and happy with them. Something she didn't get from her own parents.

He nodded. "Alright." he said as they walked out of the house. "Do you like horses?" he asked.

She nodded. "I do," she smiled. "I've never seen one up close before, but they're beautiful."

Nodding, Jon stayed silent until they got into the stable. The baby wasn't there yet but all their other horses were.

Ren wondered what she'd said to make him go so quiet, then she saw all the horses. Her eyes went wide. "You have so many horses! They're all so pretty," she said, not sure which one to meet first.

Cloud poked his head out of his stable, sniffing Ren. He startled her, but she slowly put her hand out for him to sniff and he nudged her hand so she'd pet him.

"This one's so big," she said, stroking the horses nose gently.

Jon nodded, patting Clouds neck. "He's also one of the oldest. He's my dad's. Cloud, meet Ren. Ren, this is Cloud."

Splatter stuck her head out of her stable, trying to get Jon's attention.

"Hi, Cloud," Ren smiled and looked over at the mare who'd stuck her head out. "She's pretty. Who's that," she asked Jon.

"That's Splatter. My mom's horse." he smiled, going to the mare and petting her nose. "Do you want to ride her?"

"Can I," she asked, not wanting to do something without permission from the horse's owner.

He nodded. "Of course." he smiled "She hasn't been taken out in a few days. Come on, I'll show you how to sattle her."

Later, once the horse was sattled, Jon put a stool on the ground for Ren. "Alright. Ready?" he asked, rubbing Splatter's side.

Ren nodded and carefully got up on the horse, looking happy and full of awe that she was actually sitting on a horse.
