Trace and Me Only!

"Stop worrying about me and get to sleep," he muttered. "I like my chair."

She pulled the covers over her and laid there for a long time before falling asleep.

He fell asleep before she did, and woke up before she did. He washed himself up and pulled his clothes on.

She woke up fully rested in the morning with an interesting case of bedhead she sat up rubbing her eyes and looking around.

"Finally awake," he murmured, staring at a book. He closed it shut and put it back in its place on the shelf.

"Uhrm, yeah..." she yawned get out from underneath the covers, "What time is it?"

He looked at the clock, though it was nearly pitch black. He was sure her human eyes couldn't see anything. "Seven thirty in the evening. Sunset's almost here."

"Oh...I must've slept a long time then..." she said not familiar enough with the room to move around, so she stayed put where she was.

He flicked the lights on with a simple thought and looked at her. "Not surprising. you took in a lot yesterday."

Her eyes squinted from the sudden brightness. She merly nodded and sighed.

"What do you want for breakfast," he asked, stretching.

"Uhrm....breakfast? Isn't it time for dinner or something since you said it was 7?", she asked hestantly

"For my kind, it's time for breakfast. We're nocturnal, as you will probably become if you want any sort of socialization. What do you want for breakfast," he asked again.

"Eggs, cereal or something...not really that much of a picky breakfast eater."

He nodded. "Stay here. I'll get it for you," he said and left to go get her food.

She sat around and waited, not sure if she had the liberty to look around his room or not.

He came back and set the tray of cereal, milk, a banana, and a glass of orange juice on her lap.

"Oh, thank you." she smiled kindly and started on the banana

He nodded, watching her eat for a second before he went to read again.

"What kind of books do you like to read?" she asked after she started on the cereal.

"These are philosophies," he told her. "Ancient writings that I'd taken the time to type up. If you knew latin, you'd be able to read it."

She nodded quietly continuing to eat.

He continued reading, though he'd read the books at least a thousand times before.

She finished eating and set the tray and stuff aside, "Want me to take care of all of this?"

He looked up and shook his head, standing. "No, I'll take care of it. Go ahead and take your shower. I think the girls are ready for your outing."
