"Well, maybe you could use some dancing lessons."

He chuckled. "Why do you think that," he asked, leading them to the elevator so they could go get their things.

"Foot work could make you go faster."

"you mean faster than this," he asked, seemingly appearing on the other side of the room.

"Well, more graceful." she mumbled.

He chuckled, seemingly appearing beside her, where he'd been standing before. "I was teasing you. It couldn't hurt to learn to dance. I'm afraid I don't know anyone who could teach me. Not unless you'd like to."

She smiled. "All you have to do is ask."

He chuckled. "Would you do the honor in teaching me how to dance," he asked the breedmate.

she made a face. "I don't know... it might cut into my schedule..." She said.

"What schedule?" Fairly mumbled.

"My schedule." Baily said, looking at her friend.

He chuckled. "I wouldn't want to cut into your time. You are allowed to decline if it is too much trouble."

she smiled. "I think I can slide you in."

"You need to work on your flirting skills..." Fairly mumbled.

"It got me someone, didn't it?" Baily countered.

Damon chuckled, entering the elevator with them and pushing the code to take them to the garage.

"So what happens if one of those guys you're after attacks us?" Fairly asked.

"We will protect you," he promised her. "To the best of our ability."

"There's only one of you right now." she said.

"As long as you both stay together and don't run in different directions, I can protect both of you," he promised as they arrived in the garage. He opened the door for them and got in the driver's seat. "Are we getting your things and bringing them here," he asked them, looking in the rear view mirror.

Baily got in the front next to Damon and Fairly in the back. "Isn't that the plan?"

"It sounded like one of you wanted to stay in the dorms," he said, pulling out of the estate. "Where are your dorms," he asked.

"We both live in one dorm, we're room mates so all our stuff is in one place which should be easy for you..." Fairly said. "We'll tell you where it is. Hey, How long are we going to be staying with you?"

"As long as you wish," he told them. "If you get tired of the compound, we can move you to the nearest Darkhaven, which I think is close enough to your school so that you won't have much trouble."

"Is this going to disrupt our lives?" Baily asked now. "We both have class and work... Are we ever going to live where we want?"

"Not without protection," he told her gently. "Not unless you want to forget everything you've seen tonight."

"If we choose that, then, what would happen to you? Can you find new breedmates?" Baily asked.

"New breedmates," he asked, looking at her curiously. "What are you talking about?"

"Well, aren't we breedmates? or whatever?" she asked.
