Holly and I Only!!!

He picked her pile up and put it in the tin trash can that was against the wall.

"Well, that's my good deed for the day..." she mumbled and turned to leave.

"What's your problem," he asked. "Baily doesn't have any problem staying here. Why do you?"

"I'm not a morning person. I'll snap at anyone." She said. "It's not you."

"Right," he muttered before he went to go replace the dummy.

"Would you be able to show me some of that?" she asked, turning around again to face him.

"Show you some of what," he asked, placing the dummy where the other one had fallen.

"Some fighting. I've taken defense classes, but, I'd like more." she said. "Please?"

He gave her a look, but sighed. "Alright, fine. Are you wearing something you won't mind getting messed up?"

she looked down at her shorts and tank top. "Yes. I think so."

He nodded. "What do you know about self defense so far? Show me what you know," he told her, letting himself go limp. Not like she could hurt him with her human strength, anyway.

She sighed and put up her fists to block her face then extended her arm, punching his as best she could.

He nodded. "You know how to punch well. What else do you know?"

"A few kicks, kneeing in the groin. I know eye gouges, elbowing..." she shrugged. "Enough to get me a fighting chance against a kidnapper."

He nodded. "Show me a kick," he told her. "Then I'll have you try to attack me as best as you can and I'll show you why they won't work against a Rogue. I won't hurt you," he promised.

She nodded, attacking him, though not very well.

He was easily able to grab a hold of her and disable her movements. "Rogues are quick and deadly. You have to try to outsmart them, if you can. Whatever you do - don't bleed in front of them. They'll surely kill you then. And more will swarm to you. That's the last thing you want."

She nodded, feeling something weird as he trapped her against him. "Alright. Then I just have to get quicker."

He nodded and let her go. "Carry something sharp made out of titanium with you. It's poison to their blood system. They'll turn to ashes within seconds." He handed her a dagger made of titanium. "Don't try them on Damon and I. It isn't poison to our systems because we haven't given into bloodlust. It changes your body somehow."

She nodded. "I'll put this in my purse then." she said.

"Try to keep it on you so you don't waste precious time taking it out of your purse. it's easier to access on a belt."

"Do you have a pocket knife? that's easier to carry." she said.

He shook his head. "I'll make one for you and Baily."

"Okay. Cause, I can't really carry this around in a belt all the time."

He sighed. Humans. "Wear it whenever possible, then."
