She blinked, startled by the change in conversation. And the fact that he was utterly and completely serious about the corpse turning to dust in the sun. Mostly the latter. "You're serious... How will he turn to dust," she asked him, confused.

"Mhm" He said as he took out a little flashlight he shone it on the rouge. the flashlight was solar powared so it would have the same effect. The rouge started to turn to dust where he pointed it on the hand.

She blinked, startled, and took a step back. "What on earth!? What is that thing," she asked, knowing a normal corpse wouldn't do that.

" Now that scares you" he chuckled gently. He put the flashlight away. " The flashlight is a regular solar flashlight. But that thing that was chansing you was somethign that was going to take your blood and kill you. I take blood too but I don't kill humans. I'm not a murderer of the human race. I protect." he declared.

She looked up at him. Was he really talking about vampires? "You're actually standing there and telling me that vampires exist... That you're one, and that thing is one?"

" Yes. I am a cursed one." he said.

She blinked, not understanding. "A cursed one?"

" A vampire" he said.

She studied him, frowning. "Vampires don't exist."

" Good. YOu won't try to fine me" he said and vanished.

She blinked and looked around frantically. "Wha- Where-" She sighed, her shoulders dropping. Of all the weird things.... Maybe it was the champagne talking? No, she was most definitely chased by some weirdo. And she definitely felt that guy's emotions. He was serious about all that he'd said.

Maybe it was better this way, he thought as he watched her from the roof top. But he couldn't help but feel a little sad by her statement. BAH, what was it to her anyways. Its not like she's a breedmate.

She sighed, shaking her head to herself, and continued on her way to the market. Her birthmark could be seen when she wore a bikini.

She got her food, then called a taxi to take her back to the stables, saying where she was going before she closed the door to the cab.

She arrived at the stables and paid the taxi before walking inside to put the groceries away. She lived by herself in the two-story, colonial-style brick house. It had been her mother's and her mother's before her and so on, back about eight generations.

Every time he tried to forget the human he ended up thinking about her anyways. There was no point in forgetting because all the time you are trying to forget you're actually remembering why you're forgetting them in the first place.

After she'd put the groceries away, she got the carrots she left on the counter and went out to the stables to visit her horses. "Hey, guys," she smiled. "Lights out soon," she told them, stroking the nose of a black mare, giving her a carrot.

He decided he would just watch her. No harm in watching right? It wasn't like he was stalking her. He didn't plan on any dirty deed or anything. Just watching! Like Tv! You can't be a stalker to actors on tv right?

She moved on to give each of the four horses a carrot and closed the stable doors, turning off the lights. "Sweet dreams," she smiled back at them before locking the stable and walking back to her house to take a shower and get to bed.

He sighed when he heard the leader calling. He didn't want to leave.

She took her shower and crawled into bed, relaxing and falling asleep under the covers.

Dameon was waiting impatiently. This new recruit had no reason for wondering off. He was to hunt that rouge and be back 2 hours ago.

Iris smiled, holding their little boy while Sammy was taking a nap in her crib.

Nicky was nomming on his teddy. He wondered where his dad was at.


Dameon stood at the bacolny watching the night intently. Young warriors, they think they can run offand do what they want just because they passed thier exams and are liscensed hunters. He snorted.


" Daddy is like Mufasa but daddy no die." Nicky yawned cutely. " Daddy is King. I will be king too" he smiled.

Iris smiled at her boy. "You'll be a great king like your daddy," she agreed, kissing his forehead. "If you work really hard, you might even become stronger than him," she grinned.
