Here We Go Again (Two Others, mkay? :D )

Justin looked at her as if to commit her to memory. "What," he asked, stroking her cheek, wondering why she was staring at him.

Brittany sniffed, sighing. "I don't want to lose you baby..."

"You won't lose me," he promised softly, kissing her forehead. "I'll always be here for you. Only you."

She blushed, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I need you. I've always needed you... I always will need you, no matter how much time I have left..."

He held her close. "I'll never leave, baby, I promise. I love you so much."

She hugged him and closed her eyes, deciding that sleep would be the best choice for her at the moment. "We both need sleep..."

He kissed her forehead. "Alright," he murmured.

Brittany sighed gently, closing her eyes just as a nurse came in to check her vitals.

Justin looked up at the nurse. "She's tired," he said quietly.

The nurse nodded gently, reading the monistors slowly then made sure to write the information down quickly. She had to get the blood work back soon.

Justin held Brit as the nurse checked her vitals and dozed off as she left.

Brittany fell asleep in his arms, feeling her heart-rate slow to a very dull beat.

Justin woke up a few hours later, stiff from the hospital bed, but he didn't move, not wanting to wake Brittany up.

She had woken up off and on through the afternoon, hearing random beeps from her machines. Nurses would come rushing in, see her looking confused, then walk back out as the machine went back to normal. She had closed her eyes and sat up a few times, rubbing her face. She saw that Justin was a wake and rubbed his back gently, knowing he was uncomfortable. "Why'd this happen?"

He sat up, still holding her. "I don't know, sweetheart," he murmured, kissing her forehead.

Brittany sighed, nodding. "I figured. I don't know either."

He kissed her forehead gently.

She sighed as the doctor came into the room. "We may have a way to save you, if you will agree to a lung transplant..."

Justin looked up at the doctor and down at Brit, holding her close.

Brittany nodded. "I'll do it."

Justin kissed her cheek. "When will the surgery be, doc," he asked him.

He dropped his arms from his chest, coming to stand next to the two. "Either late tonight, or early tomorrow morning. It all depends on when the lung arrives..."

Justin squeezed Brit's hand, holding her close.

She sighed, becoming eerily calm. "Thank you doctor..."

Justin looked at her worriedly. "You okay," he asked softly.
