Here We Go Again (Two Others, mkay? :D )

"Justin... Babe, I'm so sorry..." She closed her eyes, thinking back to the beginning of their relationship. If they'd never started dating, this wouldn't have happened. And now he was in pain too, and she couldn't handle that.

He shook his head. "Why are you sorry," he asked, kissing her cheek. "I'm the one who's sorry."

Brittany sighed. "I shouldn't have gotten into that fight with Alora. Baby, I'm so sorry..."

He shook his head. "I should have been there sooner. It isn't your fault, honey, it's mine. I shouldn't have hurt Alora like that to make you two fight."

She shook, wiping her eyes. "No, I shouldn't have pushed you to break up with her..." She swallowed and reached up to her necklace, contemplating giving it back to him. He didn't need to suffer with her through all of this. It wouldn't be healthy for him or her.

He shook his head, kissing her softly. "It isn't your fault, Brittany," he whispered.

Brittany nodded, letting her legs fall. "It is. I shouldn't have pushed my limits the way I did... You took such good care of me too.. I'm so sorry you have to go through this with me."

He shook his head. "I'll go through anything for you, honey. I love you more than anything," he said honestly.

Brittany smiled weakly, kissing his cheek. "Thank you."

That smile about broke him. He kissed her softly, stroking her cheek. "You are everything to me," he murmured. "I'll do whatever it takes to make you healthy again."

She sighed, wrapping her arms around her legs as she pulled them up to her chest. "Thank you..." She was shutting down. She had no idea what to think anymore...

He held her close, hating what this was doing to her, mentally and physically.

She sighed softly, closing her eyes. "I don't want you to suffer through this..."

He looked at her and shook his head. "I'm staying with you," he told her softly.

She sighed, crying as she whispered "I love you." She closed her eyes and laid on her side, no longer able to fight off the inevitable.

"I love you, too," he laid by her, holding her close, crying softly.

Brittany turned in his arms, resting her head against his chest as all sound faded from the room. All that happened was the slow deterioration of her health and the staining of tears on a bedsheet.

He nuzzled her hair, kissing her cheek, wishing he could stop all that was hurting her.

Brittany sighed, slowly wiping away Justin's tears. "Sweety, you should go home. Get some sleep..."

He shook his head. "I'm not leaving you," he told her, kissing her forehead.

Brittany sighed. "They'll move me to the chemo ward soon, if the surgery doesn't fix anything..."

"I still won't leave," he murmured.

Brittany sighed. God had cursed her, yet blessed her at the same time.

He held her close still, wanting to be with her for as long as he could.

Brittany sighed, staring at him. He was so strong all the time, and yet he seemed so fragile now. How was it possible that her foundation was crumbling so quickly, and yet she stayed standing?
