Here We Go Again (Two Others, mkay? :D )

Brittany smiled. "Your house.."

He smiled. "Alrighty. My house, it is," he said, turning onto his street and pulling into his driveway. He got the groceries and helped her out, walking inside.

Brittany smiled and walked with him inside, resting her head on his shoulder. "I feel so disoriented right now... God my head hurts too."

He set the plastic bag on the counter and picked her up bridal style. "My room or the couch," he asked, letting her head rest on his shoulder.

Brittany sighed. "Your room...."

He walked up to his room and laid her down in his bed. "You want me to get you anything," he asked, stroking her hair.

Brittany sighed. "Uh... tylenol maybe?"

He nodded and kissed her forehead, hurrying to go get the medicine and a glass of water.

Brittany sat back against his pillows, sighing. Her head was throbbing now, she didn't like how she was feeling...

He hurried back and helped her sit up, having her drink the water and pill.

Brittany smiled at him some, then closed her eyes for a moment. She let her breathing slow down, it was making her too tired to breath as much as she was.

He stroked her hair and kissed her forehead. "Get some sleep, love," he whispered.

Brittany nodded slowly, scooting under his sheets and curled into the fetal position almost immediately. She had a headache from hell and was freezing.

He stroked her hair and kissed her forehead, frowning worriedly. Her forehead was warmer than normal.

No matter how warm she might have felt to others, she trembled beneath the covers. She was absolutely freezing inside, and she couldn't handle it for much longer. "Babe..."

"You've got a really bad fever, honey," he told her gently. "You want me to go make your soup for you?" He stroked her hair, really worried about her.

Brittany closed her eyes, sighing slowly. "I don't think soup's gonna help..."

"You want me to take you to the hospital," he asked gently, stroking her hair out of her face.

Brittany let out a slow breath for a moment then grimaced in pain. "Yes... Please..." She gritted her teeth, forcing back a scream of pain. "Definitely hospital..."

He nodded and picked her up, taking the blanket with her, and carried her out to the car quickly, driving off to the hospital and to the emergency room.

Brittany grimaced through the whole ride, only one thought replaying in her mind: the fight. God, could something have gone wrong?! She took a slow breath, realizing that it was getting harder for her to breathe right.

Justin carried her inside and told the nurses what was wrong, and they wheeled her away to check on her, having him stay in the waiting room.

They took her up to get an emergency x-ray, making sure that nothing was wrong. They spent hours taking tests before an oncologist came out to speak to Justin.

Justin paced in the waiting room, sat down, and paced some more. He was extremely worried about Brittany. When the doctor came to speak to him, he stood up. "Is she okay?"

The doctor sighed for a moment, closing his eyes. "You may need to sit down... There's been a complication. I don't need to ask you if she's been in any fights or anything... It was on her medical record that she was treated for broken ribs and a bruised kidney... There's was an issue that her previous treating doctors didn't catch..."
