"I barely managed a burger king when I was young...I don't know. I just thought that going the distance is well worth it..especially if I have a family and finally may retire early to be around unlike my own dad.." Andrew explained, finally letting out one little secret. The wine was working it's magic on him, having him expose one sensitive part of his mind. His father, when he was only six, had left after a huge argument about his working late and such to support his family, when really, he was working hard..but with a woman as well on the side. He never heard from his father again and supposed that he's dead..or something. He didn't care.

She looked up at him. "Your dad wasn't around either," she asked him gently. Well, her dad was around, but he didn't care.

Andrew looked away, obviously looking like she strung a nerve, a very sensitive one. "Yeah, he just came and left..." he muttered, his hands turning into fists as he fought hard against the sadness and feeling of tears swelling within his chest and his eyes. "But, I was lucky to even have a mother to care about me, you however..you deserve some good in your life for once." he said, looking up at her with a gentle gaze. That's the only reason he went along with this scheme. Both to help himself and to give this girl some wealth well deserved as selfish and yet sympathetic it sounded.

She reached over and put her hand on his fist lightly, smiling at him gently. "You are very lucky," she agreed. "And I'm very thankful that you want to share some of that with me."

He chuckled, shaking his head. "I think it's the wine talking.." he joked, putting his glass down and holding Ashley's hand softly.

She smiled. Even if it was the wine talking, it was nice to sit there and talk.

"Eh, so, any more questions? Anything you'd like to discuss? I wouldn't want to kill our mood with sad stuff." Andrew muttered, finding himself rubbing her hand softly. He didn't know why, but it provided him some comfort.

She chuckled, her thumb lightly running over his fingers, too. "I can't think of anymore questions," she admitted after a minute of thinking. "What about you?"

Andrew sighed, looking up. "Not really...except, whether you've had someone love you at all. It just seems like you're so closed in, unreachable, hiding under a facade of makeup and a sexual attitude that overwhelms others." he said, totally serious but yet at the same time, he would admit that the wine was now making him more loose.

"You think I'm hiding? Hmm... I guess... I guess I kind of am," she admitted. Especially after the rape, she thought, a darkness coming into her thoughts. "I'm sorry if I'm overwhelming you."

"Not like that. It's not like you're overwhelming me....You're just an interesting woman unlike those that have uh..peaked my interest I guess." he explained, blushing a bit. Andrew really had to get off the wine. "A-Anyways, uh...would you like more of te lasagna?" he asked, nervous as he stood up to wash his plate and utensils to put them away in the dishwasher.

She shook her head. "No, I'm finished with the lasagna," she said, though she could use a little more wine. She poured herself one more glass before she took her plate to the kitchen to help him.

Andrew felt himself more jittery and nervous as she stood beside him. "Well, tonight was nice." he commented, smiling as he opened the dishwasher and put in his plate and the utensils in different containers.

"It was," she agreed. "Thank you for having me over and letting me cook," she helped him load the dishwasher.

Andrew nodded, then closed the door after adding the soap for the machine. "Yeah..uh, it was fun. Um, when should we set this up again?" he asked, smiling as he turned it on and leaned against the counter.

She had brought her wine in with her and sipped on it a little. "Hmm... Anytime that's good for you, really," she smiled at him.

"Well, isn't there any convenience for you?" Andrew asked, chuckling. "Are you so willing to drop everything at the tip of a hat for me?" he joked, trying to act like he was enjoying the attention.

She chuckled. "But of course," she teased. "You're my most important client, after all. Having to make you wait would look terrible," she grinned, still teasing, though she ws halfway serious.

Andrew chuckled again, smiling more. She seemed to be able to put a grin on his face whenever. "Well, I'm glad you think of me so, but still...you're my most important client as well, especially with taking down that bastard Evans.." he grinned, winking.

She smiled. "Which I will do. I'm recording the conversations I have with him over the phone and in person. Security cameras are amazing," she grinned.

Andrew nodded, chuckling. "Thankfully enough to the furthest of my knowledge, this place is free of any cameras or recorders." he said, nodding and stretching. "So how long do you have here? I'd hate to keep you here longer than you should be.." he said, looking over her. He had to admit though despite that he felt a bit more light with the wine in his system, she was..attractive. Especially when she's not dancing around.

She smiled, sipping on her wine. "I have the rest of the night, really. I didn't take any other clients tonight," she chuckled.

Andrew whistled, smiling a bit. So she had the night to herself, interesting...."Um, why not spend the night here? I mean, for some reason I keep getting the feeling that maybe Evans has someone watching my home..." he muttered, not trying to make any assumptions but, he wanted her to be safe.

"Are you sure? I don't want to intrude," she smiled.

"No, you're not intruding, hell, I invited you here. You practically broke and entered my home." Andrew joked, rolling his eyes. "I have a guest room, so don't worry." he said, grinning. "Unless it's overwhelming to stay in such a lavish apartment." he sarcastically muttered.
