Finally a home~ Private

Marley sighed, kissing Jon's cheek. "He isn't picking up. It'll be okay, Laney will forgive you, you're her brother, her twin. I've never seen a sister love a brother more than Laney loves you."

Ilane stayed still like she was told to do then went back to her dad when she was done. "Daddy, I want to talk to Jonathon..."

Jon nodded, hugging Marley tightly and nuzzling into her. "O-Ok.." he mumbled.

Joshua smiled, nodding. "You will once we get out, ok? I haven't been able to get good signals in here so we have to wait." he said as they were escorted back to their room.

"Do you want to do anything? I'll do anything with you." Marley told her son softly.


Laney sat on the bed, sighing. "Daddy... Why were you upset when you came home today?" Her arm hurt, but she wanted something to get her mind off of it.

Jon sighed, shaking his head. "No...I just want my sis back.." he mumbled, rubbing his eyes.

Joshua froze as he was asked that question. Would he have to tell her about his mom, or rather her grandmother? "It was just a bad day at work...really bad day." he mumbled, smiling.

Marley smiled softly, kissing his cheek. "She'll be back soon. I know it."

Ilane looked at him. "Is it going to get better?"

"Ok...can we make her favorite dinner?" Jon asked, smiling a little.

Joshua nodded, smiling. "Yeah, definitely. Especially with you and your mom and brother around." he said, trying to hide the hurt. But it took a few hours before she could get a cast on and then were able to come home.

Marley smiled and nodded, getting up. "Come on. we'll do it together."

Ilane waited patiently, though her arm hurt and she cried a little, she waited.

Jon nodded, smiling more and not crying instead as he grabbed her hand.

Joshua tried to calm her down, just as they were finished and were able to leave the hospital. He carried her out to the car, buckling her in and then starting to drive home. He dialed the home number and gave the phone to Ilane. "Talk to your brother." he smiled.

Ilane smiled and put the phone to her ear.


Marley picked up the phone and smiled as she heard her daughter then smiled more as she wanted to talk to Jon. Marley went to her son and handed him the phone. "It's your sister."

Jonathan smiled brightly and answered, "Hi....You ok?".

Joshua could hear his voice a little bit from where he sat, but he was glad he wasn't crying or depressed.

"Yeah. Hungry and tired, but okay. I have a cast. I can't pick a color yet, I have to wait for that. Daddy and I are going to the store to get a pain scription. I think that's what they called it..." she said quickly. Her arm still hurt, but she felt better talking to her brother. "I wanted to tell you this isn't your fault. I know you'd be blaming yourself. I wanted to tell you before, but we didn't have signal... You're my brother, you wouldn't hurt me. This isn't your fault."

Jonathan sniffed, feeling as if he was gonna cry again. It was too lucky that she forgave him. Her arm was probably broken! He was lucky to have such a sister. "Mommy and I got something good waiting for you. Your favorite." he said proudly.

Joshua watched, chuckling. He was glad his kids had such a tight bond.

Ilane brightened. "My favorite what?" she asked excited.

"Your favorite food silly!" Jonathan said, grinning.

Joshua watched the road, and then saw that they were close to home. "Hey, tell em we're a few blocks away. We're gonna be there in around...ten minutes." he told Ilane with a smile.

"But what about my pain scription?" Ilane asked, looking at her dad.

"Well, crud. I forgot. I just got a lot on my mind honey." Joshua said, sighing and rubbing his head. After having to avoid that big question from Ilane, he couldn't think straight. He went past their street and onto the shortcut to the nearest Walgreen's.

Jonathan blinked, but knew something was up. "Ok, so did the cast hurt?" he asked, worried.

"Yes, it did..." Ilane said to her brother softly. "They had to put the bone back together."

"I wish I could've gone with you..." Jon said, pouting a bit.

Joshua stopped at Walgreens, sighing. "Ok, you stay in here and don't go anywhere." he said as he locked the doors once he got out and then went inside.

Ilane nodded. "I wish you were too, but daddy was enough. Daddy got me so fast and it hurt so much I wasn't able to say I wanted you."

Jon nodded, sighing. "Anyways, I'll be waiting here with mommy, k? Can't wait to see you, love you." he said, a tear falling down his cheek.

"I love you, too, twin." She said softly, a tear of her own falling down her cheek.

Marley smiled and kissed the tear away from her son's cheek. "I told you she'd forgive you."

Jon nodded, sighing. "I just want her home." he mumbled, closing his eyes.

Joshua soon came back in the car with the prescription and then drove home. Once they arrived home, he carried her inside. "We're back!"

Marley rushed to them and picked Ilane out of Joshua's arms. "Oh my baby girl..." she said softly.

"I'm okay mommy." Ilane said softly, holding her mom tightly.

Joshua picked up Jonathan, hugging him tight. "It wasn't your fault son, don't blame yourself.." he cooed, kissing his head as he sniffed and looked over at his twin sister. "Ilane, you really ok?"

She nodded. "I'm really okay." she said.
