"please don't start this again.... I love you so much and you're barley in my life." she said. "you know how much I love you."

" Yet you want me to be a friend" Ben said.

"What more do you want from me?" she asked.

" Don't act like nothing happened!" Ben snapped, " You have ignored my very existance! I came back because you couldn't get over me. "

"I can't get over you. All these years I've been conflicted, confused on weather I made the right choice or not! You both make me so happy and I can't be with one without hurting the other. Please don't do this to me, don't act like I've totally forgotten about you because I haven't. The day you died I nearly died too!" She was crying by the time she stopped speaking.

" Death is no parenthsis." he said softly.

Ben sat down and sighed.

She looked over at him. Ashton was right, the look she had was pained. "I'm sorry I'm hurting you. If I could have you both, I would, but I can't. Can you ever forgive me?"

"I would never tell if you had me too" he said softly.

She looked confused. "What do you mean?"

""If you had me and jake" he said

"I don't know how it would work... One of you would get jealous." she said, trying to understand what I meant.

"Not if you had both of us" he said

"I don't understand What are you trying to say?" She asked.

" Love both of us" He said

"I do." She said, still confused.

" Be with both of us" he said

"How?" she asked.

" I don't know" he said softly

She got up and hugged him. "I can't have both of you. But I will always love you. K?"

" I wish you could have both of us. Because being the low man on the totem pole sucks" he said.

"You're important to my family." She said. "Kale and Ashton love you. Marley loves hanging out with you when you're around."

" I miss having my own family. A complete one" he said.

"I'm sorry..." She said softly.
