" I love you too" Jake said gently.

She smiled softly and slowly started to fall asleep.

Jake smiled gently stroking her hair.

Ashton slept for 2 hours before slowly waking up. she sat up, rubbing her face.

" Hey sleepy head." Jake said. He had gone to the store for her meds when the 45 mins passed.

"hi. how long did I sleep?" She asked.

" Two hours" Jake said gently.

She sighed. "Has my dad called about Adam?" she asked, hoping so.

" Nothing. I'm guessing Adam is still sleeping" Jake said.

She sighed and nodded. "I didn't mean to sleep so long.'

' I got your meds for you" Jake said.

She smiled and got up, grabbing the bag of meds. She grabbed a coke and took a pill.

Jake took the stuff out to the car, " Ready to go see him" he asked.

She nodded. "Hell yes." she said softly, getting into the car.

Jake raise an eye brow, " That better be the meds talking"

She looked at him confused. "What do you mean?"

" You swore infront of your old man" he said/

"Oh... still upset about swearing." She mumbled. she swore all the time. "It probably is the pain killers."

" I don't like it when people swear." Jake said gently. " Ben swares like a salior"

Ashton chuckled. "That's where Kale and I get it."

" I don't know how Sami put up with it when you and Kale were just little things." Jake said sighing.

"I don't remember my dad cursing so much. But then again, the first thing I remember of him is him dieing..." she said.

" He's here for you now. " Jake said gently. He had always treated Ashton as his own but Kale and him never grew close. They hardly said 1 word to each other.

She smiled. "I know. I'll talk to him about paying for my wedding. I'll see if he can.''

" I should see why not. It is the least he can do since I've provided for you fianciully all these years" Jake said turing into the hospital.
