"Is it really a contest between you two?" She asked, a little disappointed.

" No. I'm just saying. " Jake said shrugging. " I suppose Kale is gonna be the best man"

"That's up to Adam." she said getting out of the car once it was parked.

" You'll have a say so knowing you" he chuckled.

"I'll put in a good word for you Daddy." She said, kissing his cheek as they walked into the waiting room where everyone was still.

Jake chuckled and nodded. He kissed her cheek " Go check on your beau."

She nodded, going to Adams room

Adam was still asleep and Ben was asleep in the chair.

Ashton went to Ben, kissing his cheek to wake him.

Ben yawned and opened his eyes.

"hi daddy." She said softly.

" Hey there' Ben yawned gently.

She sat down in the chair next to him. "Did you stay here the whole time I was gone?"

" Yes I did" Ben nodded.

She smiled. "Thank you. Has he been asleep the entire time?"

" Yeah from what I know." Ben nodded his head.

She nodded. "I wanna talk to you about my wedding."

" W-wedding?" Ben stammered.

She showed him her ring. "He proposed last night."

" Your mother has all my money." Ben said. " It was in the will."

"Mom hasn't done anything with it. If you want it, she'll give it to you."

" Do you think I should become alive again" he asked.

"Well, you'll have to pay taxes and possible to jury duty..." She shrugged. "I don't know."

" The problem is how would your mother react" He said gently.

"React to what?" She asked.
