Alex was about to protest, but knew he shouldn't make a scene. "Just let the man do his job. I'll have a steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables please...and Sami, come on...we'll talk about it later." he said, coughing.

She frowned and nodded. "Alright."

As the waiter then took their orders, he left. Alex grunted, looking at her and glaring. "Seriously....Ugh, I was just thinking about how the situation will be in Iraq when I get there.."

"You could have said that. There's nothing wrong with saying that." she said softly, glaring back.

"Yeah well, there's no use in ruining a good meal over silly worries..you know that." Alex said, looking away and tapping on the table.

She sighed and nodded. "If you don't want me asking what you're thinking, I wont."

"It....Ugh." Alex sighed, rubbing his face. Now he wasn't about to start an argument over something stupid. As their dinner was served, he ate quietly, not looking up.

She sighed, eating her own food silently.

A few stared, wondering why the happy couple then turned sour. Obviously Alex felt guilty yet ashamed of what he said. He grunted, looking at her as she wasn't looking up. "Sorry.." he muttered.

she looked at him, sighing. "It's okay."

"It's hard to think about leaving you and going into a suicide mission practically, ya know?" Alex mumbled, finishing off his potatoes.

She nodded. "yeah, I know... You just... both of us, we need to believe that you're going to come back, otherwise... it'll be to painful."

Alex nodded, knowing what she meant. "I will come back.." he said, smiling as he held her hand.

She brought his hand to her face, holding it against her cheek. "Promise?"

"I swear.." Alex said, rubbing her cheek and smiling.

She kissed his hand, smiling then let it go.

Alex finished his food quickly, wanting to skip dessert and wanting to have that at the hotel in their room. "I think we should have dessert back at the room, seems much more..eh, romantic." he smiled.

She smiled and nodded. "alright."

Alex smiled, letting Sami finish her meal and then escorting her out to the limo, back to their hotel room. The bill wasn't even that expensive, which was good news for him. Once inside the room, he grabbed the phone and started to call room service, taking off his tie at least.

Sami went up behind him, wrapping her arms around him from behind, rubbing his chest. She kissed his shoulder, her hands going down his stomach.

Alex stiffens and hangs up after ordering a nice cheesecake with strawberries. His hands enveloped hers, squeezing and turning around. He smiled, kissing her softly and caressing her cheek as his other hand snuck underneath her shirt.

She smiled and kissed back, letting his hands go where they wanted.

Alex pressed her against the wall, panting a bit as he raised her up and held her by the legs as the wall kept her straight. "I love you.." he mumbled against her lips as he kissed her again.

She kissed back wrapping her legs around him to keep herself up. "I love you too." she whispered.

Alex then groaned as he heard the doorbell. "Aw come on.." he muttered as he pulled away from Sami. He shifted his pants a bit as to not show what they were up to to the waiter. Opening the door, the waiter came in with a good sized cheesecake, whole and not in slices. After tipping the man pretty quickly, he closed the door and sighed. "Thankfully it was quick." he then looked at Sami, grinning. "Wanna eat first or what?"
