A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.3

Brados fought against the urge to take her in his arms and take her back to their den. "I'll be fine, baby. I was the strongest in our pack. I'll be back as soon as I can. Please take care of our babies for me. Tell them I went on a long hunting trip and I'll bring back something yummy," he kissed her forehead. "I'll be home soon," he promised. "I love you so much, it hurts." Before he could let her talk him into staying, he shifted into his wolf form and ran off as fast as he could, not letting himself turn back.

"No! Brados, come back." she cried, falling onto her knees. "You can't leave..." she mumbled. "you can't..." she cried for a little while before getting up and running to her brother. "Nick! Nick wake up!" she said, shaking him.

Nick jumped awake. "Wha- What? I'm up," he sat up, blinking tiredly. "What's going on," he yawned and noticed she'd been crying. "Sam, what's wrong," he asked, more alert now.

Ilane moaned slightly and opened her eyes. "Sam?"

"Brados left. Just now." Sam cried. "He's going to kill the rest of the people from his old pack. Nick, you have to bring him back... I can't live with out him... Please Nick, as my brother." she almost threw herself at her brother and burried her face in his shoulder. "I love him... I need him back."

Nick blinked. "What..? Brados..left? To kill everyone from his old pack? How long ago did he leave," he asked, getting up. He doubted he'd be able to catch up with the large male, but he'd try for his sister.

"About 10 minutes ago... You probably wont catch him, there's really no hope..." she mumbled, looking at Ilane. Ilane sat up and held her arms open and Sam went to her, holding her tight and crying.

"I'll try," he promised his sister and shifted into his wolf form, running as fast as he could to try to catch up with Brados by following his scent.

[you wanna just skip the year and a half or play out when Kendal wakes up and then skip? totally up to you]

It was a year and a half and Sam was still a little lost with out Brados. Right now, she was in a feild with Connal and Ilane's baby girl, teaching her own new baby, another girl how to walk.((Who you can play so you're not playing all the guys and you're also playing Ilane's girl. I think.))

Brados was finally done with his "mission" and stood at the edge of the forest with a moose beside him. He'd promised a treat and he'd brought one. He noticed Sam sitting in a field with Conall, but she was helping a baby girl how to walk. Had she really found someone else so soon? He felt his chest tighten and sighed, his ears pulled back.

Kale was at the edge of the field also, not far from her mom, but alone. The little girl had grown quite a lot in just a year. She was taller and her hair was longer. She saw the wolf and dropped her flowers. "Daddy?"

((I'm leaving in 15 minutes.))

Brados, covered in several scars, was surprised (and elated) that Kale recognized him. He picked up the treat and slowly started towards her.

Izzy gurgled, hanging onto her mommy's hand and wobbling on her two feet towards her.

Kale took a step back, her eyes wide. "Mommy said that you wern't going to come back." she said, her voice trembling.

Sam smiled brightly at her baby. "You're doing great my love." she said then picked up her baby, spinning her happily.

Brados whined and stopped, his ears pulled back. Of course I came back. I went to go get rid of the bad people who hurt your Uncle Kendal... I did it to make sure you, your brother, and your mommy were safe. I told your Mommy I'd be back as soon as I could. Was his baby girl really scared of him?

Izzy giggled happily, waving her little arms in the air.

"You're really back?" Kale asked, taking a step forward now. "You're really really back?"

Sam smiled and stopped spinning. "Conall, where's your sister?" She asked.

Brados nodded. I'm really back, baby girl, he said, hoping she didn't hate him for leaving. I won't ever leave again, I promise. Not unless your Mommy wants me to...

Conall looked in the direction he knew Kale went. "Over there, somewhere. I'll go get her," he hopped up and jogged over to her. "Kale, Mom's looking for..." he trailed off, seeing who she was looking at. "Dad?"

Kale smiled. "Daddy's back!" she said, loud enough for Sam to hear, and flung herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I missed you. I woke up and you were gone and mommy was crying." she said, nuzzling his fur.

Sam did hear and looked at Ilane's girl. "Go get your mom and dad sweetie." she said softly, holding Izzy close to her.

((My rents are making me leave. I'll be on tomorrow. *hugs* Sweet dreams. Bye))

Brados shifted into his human form and held his baby girl. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I didn't want to hurt you, but I had to keep you all safe..." He hoped she'd understand. He smiled at his son, hoping he wasn't mad at him, too.

Conall ran to his dad and practically glomped him. "Daddy, don't ever leave again," he begged.

Brados held onto his two children. "I won't. I'm here forever," he promised, nuzzling them both.

Sami gasped, seeing this. She wanted so badly to run to Brados and hug him and kiss him. But she wouldn't. She really didn't know what to say to him, she honestly didn't think he'd come back.

Brados looked up and saw Sam, his eyes not missing the baby in her arms. "I told you I'd come back," he murmured. His expression to her was a mixture between begging, love, and an apology.

"You missed the birth of your baby." She said simply.

He froze, his eyes automatically going to the girl in her arms. Now he felt horrible.

She sighed. "Her name is Izzy. Wanna hold her?" She asked. She honestly didn't know what to do. She was both mad and happy that Brados was back, but she didn't know how to handle it.

Brados nodded and put Conall and Kale down, standing and walking towards the only woman he's ever loved. He looked at Sam, feeling horrible for hurting her. "Everyone's safe now," he murmured. "They're all gone."

She nodded, handing Izzy over to him. "Thank you... For comming back." She bit her lip and glomped at him. "I missed you so much. I was so lost..." she mumbled into his chest.

Brados carefully took the little girl and blinked, chuckling when she glomped him. "I love you," he murmured to his mate, kissing the top of her head. "I'm sorry I took so long, baby. It was hard to track them down."

Izzy blinked and gurgled, smiling at her mommy and the big male she was hugging.
