She nodded, holding him tightly. "I promise."

He nodded and lifted her chin, kissing her lovingly, gradually turning hungrier and hungrier.

She moaned, kissing him back.

His arms turned into a cage that surrounded her, holding her close to his body protectively as he pressed against her.

She gasped and attackted his pants again, needing them off.

He growled, a deep sound from his chest, hungrily and pulled down his pants. He then took her back into his arms, nipping her shoulders and neck. "I need you," he murmured huskily, almost a growl. "It's been way too long..."

She growled. "Quit telling me you need me and take me already!" she demanded.

He grunted and took her.

When they had enough of each other, it was late in the night and Sami was completly exhausted. "Baby, I don't know if I have enough energy to walk." she smied.

Brados panted and chuckled, nuzzling her. "I'll carry you back, love," he murmured and pulled his pants back on, putting his shirt on her and lifting her up, cradling her to his chest as he walked back to their den. "Have I told you how much I've missed you," he asked jokingly.

She nodded, smiling. "I think you have."

He chuckled softly and laid her down in their bed, then kissed each of his children' foreheads before he crawled into bed next to his mate. "I'm sorry I wasn't here when Izzy was born," he whispered, holding her close. "I'll make it up to both of you," he promised.

"You better."She said softly. She looked at him in the night and reached up and touched his eye. "did this hurt?"

He closed his eye as she touched the scars over it. "It did," he murmured honestly. "I can hardly see out of it now."

She moved her fingers and cupped his cheek. "Really? what happened?"

He frowned, not entirely sure if he should tell her. But he wanted to show that he had nothing to hide from her. He sighed softly. "I'd tracked down Bryan, the leader of our old pack, the strongest. You wouldn't believe the creep this guy was - he had fifteen mates and at least two kids with each of them," he raised his lip in disgust. "But he and I got into it and he nearly beat me, but I won. Most of these scars are from him," he sighed. "The kids..." he pursed his lips. "The older ones tried to fight me..." he left the rest to her assumptions. "But the younger ones left with their moms, who thanked me from the bottom of their hearts for saving them."

Sam sighed and kissed his lips softly. "Thank you for telling me. I wont ask again. You don't have to tell me unless you want to." She changed the subject. "Are those women starting their own, more peaceful pack?" she asked.

He groaned. "I forgot to talk to Nick about it... I told them that if they needed a safe place to raise their kids, that they could join our pack, if our alpha allowed it. I didn't think Nick would mind, but... I figured I'd better ask, just in case..."

"Ask him tomorrow." she mumbled, holding him tighter. "I don't want you to move."

He rubbed her back lovingly. "I'm all yours tonight, remember," he smiled softly. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Ever?" she asked, looking at him. Her eyes were sad from being a lone for so long.

"Ever," he kissed her softly, lovingly. "I'll prove it to you, somehow," he whispered softly.

She nodded. "alright." she said softly.

He tucked some hair behind her ear. "Sleep now, love," he murmured, nuzzling her softly. "I'll still be here when you wake up, I promise."

She nodded, cuddling close to him. "alright." she whispered. "You'd better be here. If you're not, I'm never forgiving you." she teased.
