"Do you remember if you liked it or not," she asked, looking at him softly.

" well it's meat. I'm bound to like it." he said gently.

She chuckled. "I guess so."

He jumped when he heard a crack of thunder. " I hate storms" he said miserably.

She turned on the radio and listened for a little bit. "The worst of it is going around us. This is as bad as it's gonna get," she assured him, handing him his plateful of dinner.

" You say that now. But winds do change." he said grabbing the plate./

She sat down beside him, eating from her own plate. "I have a basement. We'll wait out the storm there if it gets any worse," she promised.

" You no leave me?" he asked gently.

She looked at him. "No," she said gently. "No, I won't leave you," she promised softly.

He went to her and hugged her tightly.

She hugged him back gently. "Are you alright," she asked softly.

" Storms just remind me of bad days" He said gently.

He looked up and kissed his cheek. "It's alright now," she murmured softly.

He hugged her tightly.

She hugged him back, rubbing his back gently to try and comfort him more.

" Why are you not afraid of me?" he asked gently.

She looked at him. "I don't see anything to be afraid of," she murmured. "I know you won't hurt me. You're too sweet of a person. And, if you did want to hurt me, you would have done it already," she pointed out gently.

" you like me?" he asked gently.

She nodded. "Yes. I like you," she smiled softly.

He smile and hugged her,

She smiled and hugged him back, blushing softly.

It was hard to tell if he was either being really cildish or more adult about his feelings yet he had made love to her.

Though she liked the feel of his arms around her, she pulled away slowly. "Let's finish eating and we can go make a fort downstairs. How's that sound," she smiled.

' Alright" he said gently.

"Have you ever made a fort out of sheets and blankets," she asked, taking a bite of her dinner.
