" You can't sleep in the car all day" he chcukled.

Groggily, she unbuckled herself and got out. "Can I go back to sleep once we get inside," she asked, yawning.

" Sure" he chuckled.

She walked with him inside up to his room and flopped down on the bed, falling asleep nearly immediately.

" Aw" He smiled gently as he wen tto his chair and sat down.

Alex, as usual, dreamt of her previous life. It was the day that Dimitri had proposed to her.

Bryan closed his eyes to think.

The day had started out normal; she'd gone to meet him at his castle and began the afternoon with a cup of tea with his sister while he went to do whatever. She'd figured he'd been talking with diplomats.

He desided to go online with his laptop

Aleksandra and Anastasia had finished their tea, and the younger girl had suggested they go for a walk in the garden, since it was such a nice day out. Aleksandra had agreed; they both grabbed their parsols and Aleksandra followed her love's sister through the garden.

Bryan sighed softly.

Aleksandra had noticed Dimitri on the other end of the garden, where they were headed. He looked all dressed up. Again, she figured it was because he'd had to dress up to talk to the diplomats or someone else important.

Bryan got up and pulled his jeans and shirt off. He put on sweat pants on and a tank top and slippers.

Aleks smiled up at Dimitri, then as she was about to say something, Anastasia had excused herself and left with the guard that had come with them. Aleks had watched after them curiously, wondering why Anastasia had left so abruptly, then turned back to Dimitri. "Are you having a fight with your sister," she had asked him in Russian.

Bryan walked out sighing gently.

"No," he had chuckled. "I have something to ask you."

She looked at him curiously. "What is it?"

"I was wondering," he said, pulling a small box out from behind his back. "If you would considering being my wife."

Bryan sat on the front porch thinking.

Of course, this was back in the times when parents would choose who their children would marry. The two had technically been engaged since they were three. It was by luck, and possible good timing, that they'd fallen in love.

Aleksandra ignored the box, her eyes never leaving his face. She'd dropped her parasol and ran, wrapping her arms around him. "Of course I will," she said, "happy" tears falling down her cheeks.

Bryan walked upstairs and ran a hand through his hair sighing.

Alex' dream faded into the rest of Aleksandra's day, which had been mostly uneventful. The memory was foggy; Aleksandra's thoughts had mainly revolved around Dimitri and how happy she was. She hadn't really paid attention to anything else.

Bryan walked back up to his room.

[Ahh. XD]

Alex was curled up in a loose ball, a little chilly, and smiling softly in her sleep. The dream was over, but the feeling of happiness was still there.

Bryan sighed gently.

Alex woke up a couple hours later, her stomach growling. She opened her eyes and sighed, still exhausted.
