She let her fingers trace the lines of his face. It may have been her memory fading, but he seemed much more... beautiful - there was really no other word for it - than before.

She smiled and roamed around his room aimlessly, looking around curiously, seeing if she could see anything familiar. Probably not, but curiosity killed the cat, right?

She noticed him watching her and smiled, going to sit by him. "You know what I think we should do, just for fun? Talk to each other in Russian and confuse the hell out of everyone at school," she grinned evilly. "Now that I remember the language, it shouldn't be hard at tall," she laughed.

She smiled, happy she remembered all of her happy memories; she'd try to sort out the bad later. She wanted to focus on being happy with Dimitri now, wanted to see him smile like he did so long ago when he was still human.

She blushed softly and smiled. "I don't think I've ever been this happy," she whispered. She amended the thought: except when we were expecting. But she didn't want to say it out loud, in case it hurt him.
