Bryan listened quietly to her.

Alex flushed in embarrassment as the entire girls' choir burst into applause when she was done; it also brought her back to the present. She'd been thinking about her dreams as she sang.

Quick to try to hide from all the attention, Alex got onto her spot on the risers as the girls choir started their song.

[I can't think of anything... o.o;]

Bryan watched her smiling.

The girls sang their song, Alex having the solo.

Bryan smiled thinking she had such a beautiful voice.

The girls choir, being finished, got down off the stage and sat in their seats, the girls crowding around Alex to compliment her on her voice. Alex, hating to be the center of attention, just smiled sheepishly and shook her head, blushing in embarassment.

Bryan smiled at Alex and winked at her.

Alex noticed Bryan's wink and blushed, smiling sheepishly again before sighing, thanking the teachers mentally for settling the classes down and telling them about the song they were going to sing together.

Bryan chuckled gently.

"We've decided Alex Williams and Bryan Adams will have the solos," one of the directors said.

Alex felt all the girls' eyes fall on her, now glaring, as Alex blinked and looked at Bryan.

Bryan smiled at Alex and stood up.

Alex stood up, too, though rather slowly, and went up to the stage when the directors told them to head up there. The two singers were handed a piece of sheet music; that was what they were singing. Alex looked down at it and studied it for a second. She'd only heard the song once or twice, but she figured she could do okay with it. She couldn't deny that she felt kind of nervous singing with Bryan; he was so much better than she was.

Bryan looked a the music. " I'll give it my best shot"

Alex nodded. "I will, too," she murmured, still looking down and studying the music.

Bryan hoped he didn't mess up

Alex hoped she didn't mess up, as well, and started singing once her part came up.

He hoped the same. He didn't want to look bad in front of Alex.

Alex sang with the same passion she'd sung with the other two, only she was looking down at her paper, making sure she got the notes and words right.

The song came to a close and the classes cheered.

Alex blushed with embarrassment, smiling sheepishly, pretending like she was looking over her music more.

Bryan chuckled and watched her.

Once the applause calmed down, the teachers said they had the rest of the period to themselves. Reluctantly, Alex went to gather her stuff at her seat, ignoring the girls' glares, and went to wait for the bell at the door.

Bryan got up and went to talk to her.

Alex noticed Bryan coming towards her and smiled. "Hey."

"Hey " he smiled working his vampire charms on her. He put his hand on her waist sensually.
