Deryk ran to her, slipping and falling to his knees. "You alright," he asked, getting up and sliding his feet back to the snow.

Kat laughed, ending up falling again only to laugh even harder. "Oh..." She took a few steadying breaths, finally having relaxed. "I'm fine. Are you okay?"

He laughed with her. "I'm fine," he kissed her. "Let's be careful where we walk, shall we?"

Kat smiled, kissing him back before standing. "Yeah yeah. That's cool I guess. But I love to slide around and stuffs."

"Stuffs," he repeated, poking her side jokingly as he kissed her.

Kat grinned, kissing him back. "I love you..."

"I love you, too," he smiled.

Kat laughed, kissing him back happily. "Come on love, lets get going..."

"Yes," he smiled, walking into the cafe with her to get a hot cocoa.

Kat smiled, wrapping her arms around his waist at the counter.

"Hot cocoa, please," he told the clerk, handing him the correct amount of change.

Kat smiled and picked up the drink, walking over to a small booth in the corner. "Today was beautiful sweetheart..."

Deryk smiled, walking next to her. "I'm glad you enjoyed it, love," he kissed her cheek.

Kat smiled. "Of course I liked it! It was the most fun I've had in ages sweetie..."

He smiled happily and nuzzled her cheek with his nose. "I'm glad. What would you like to do next?"

"Its up to you... I'm fine with whatever..."

He smiled and took her hand. "Do you want to walk around more or go home and cuddle," he asked her.

Kat smiled. "Cuddle... Definitely cuddle."

He smiled, opening the passenger door of his truck for her. "Then home we shall go."

Kat smiled, sliding quickly into his truck. She loved the chill in her bones, but not when her pants were soaked from sliding on ice and snow...

He turned the heater on full blast (once the heater was blowing hot air), and drove back to their apartment. "Home sweet home," he smiled, getting out and helping her out so she didn't slip.

"God, such a getleman..." She laughed and kissed him lightly, closing the truck door and went inside

"What? It's icy and I didn't want you to slip," he pouted, following her inside.

She c;osed the door behind him, tugged off her scarf and hung it on a chair, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I know. I( was just playin baby..."

He kissed her softly, his hands resting on the small of her back. "I know. I was playing along," he grinned.
