Finally a home~ Private

Joshua nodded. "I gotcha. I know when to stop. I'll go to the craps tables again and you can hold the fort here, ok?" he said, kissing her softly and going to the craps tables again.

Marley smiled and nodded, sitting back down at the poker table, playing the way her dad taught her.

Joshua continued to play, though only racking up to about 400 more until he lost a hundred, leaving him at 300. He got up, going to the poker table and watching the rest of the game.

Marley was betting all her 3,000$ She had a really good hand, she knew she'd win.

Joshua watched, almost feeling his heart stop. $3000 is alot of money!

Marley kept a perfect poker face. And won, more than doubling her money.

Joshua whistled, clapping his pride. "Ok, let's go cash it in. We don't want to lose it all too." he said, smiling and patting her back.

Marley smiled, holding her chips like a little kid would hold an armfull of candy. "Alright. How much did you get?"

Going up to the counter, Joshua watched the chips be put away and counted for. Then hearing the cash register. Music to his ears! He stared as he saw the amount of cash in the guy's hand, grabbing it and thanking the guy after paying five bucks off because of taxes. Handing it over to Marley, he smiled. "It's yours to spend, however you want it."

"Really?" he asked, smling brightly.

"Yeah, definitely." Joshua nodded, wrapping his arm around her waist as they left the casino.

She smiled, hiding her money in her bra. "I think I made my dad proud today."

"Definitely made me proud babe." Joshua smiled, patting her butt playfully as they walked on the sidewalk. "So, where to? This is Reno, plenty of stores around." he grinned, knowing she might just go to a mall or something.

"I heard Medowood mall was good." she said, smiling at him.

"Ok, medowood mall it is." Joshua said, holding her hand tight and crossing the street and finding the mall pretty easy. It was big after all and it's sign was distinct. No way of missing it.

A Macey's, Sears, and a number of other stores were lactated in the mall and Marley smiled. "Let's use this money for the baby." she said, seeing a Babies R Us.

Joshua chuckled as she suggested using it for the baby. Of course she would like that. "Ok, let's go then." he smiled, going inside the Babies R Us. He saw the many clothes for babies and also other items which made him wish all the more for their baby to come along faster.

Marley went over to the cribs and smiled. She rubbed her belly, wishing she knew the gender.

"We could always get one of those neutral cribs. Like a sort of different wood color like cherry red or something." Joshua shrugged, knowing there were other colors that were just as acceptable.

"Do you think this green and brown one works? I really like it." she said softly, still rubbing her belly with one hand while the other was on the crib.

"Yeah, it should do the trick. Not feminine, but not masculine either. Just right." Joshua nodded, smiling and rubbing her belly also. He grabbed the huge rectangular box that was filled with the parts and carried it to the cash register, Marley following. It was about $459.98, which almost made his heart stop until he reminded himself they had money from the casino.

Marley stopped and looked at Joshua. "Baby... we can't get this home. We're on a plane, we can't fly this. Should we wait till we get home to get stuff like this?"

"I'll just uh...UPS it?" Joshua said, blinking.

She shook her head, apologizing the the cashiere and putting the crib back. "I'll save the money and we can figure out what to do with it when we get home."

Joshua sighed, nodding. Though he figured if he got home and got on their computer, he could have the same one delivered. He made a mental note to see if he could go ahead with that plan. "Sorry, babe..." he mumbled as they left the store. He felt like a fool for a second there.
