A Midnight Breed Rp

Iris pulled up a rolley chair to Damien's bedside and ended up falling asleep, leaning against his bed. She hadn't slept all night.

He yawned softly and looked at her

She slept still, waking up about an hour before sundown. Crystal had taken care of Nicky when he woke up.

He was up and out of bed by then.

Iris yawned, blinking her eyes open, looking around for Damien curiously. She followed where she felt he was. "Are you hurting," she asked, walking to him.

" I'm fine for now" he said softly.

She kissed his cheek. "If you need anything, let me know," she told him. "Do you have a mission tonight," she asked curiously.

" No. No Missons. Not for a while" he said softly.

She nodded. "Good," she hugged him. "I was so worried..." but she knew that he'd known that.

" I know. I felt it" he said softly as he looked at his hansd

She looked up at him. "What's wrong," she asked him softly.

" Shell shock" he said softly.

She took his hand and kissed him gently.

He kissed her gently and sighed softly

"Are you tired," she asked, still a little worried about him.

" Yes " he said softly.

Iris smiled and picked up Nicky. "Hey, sweetie. Happy birthday," she smiled and hugged him close, nuzzling him.

Nicky laughed and hugged his mom and nuzzled her. " Where's daddy" he asked.

"Waiting for us with your uncles and aunt," she smiled and walked to the big parlor where they were going to hang out to celebrate Nicky's first birthday.

" Oh." He said holding onto her.

She kissed his forehead and opened the door. "Here we are," she said happily.

" H appy birthday" They all said.

Nicky laughed.

Iris smiled and hugged him close before she set him down so he could do as he pleased.

" All these my pweasents?" hje asked

"They're all for you," Iris smiled at him. "Want help opening them?"
