"He's an exboyfriend who was asking for help." she said, closing the door then taking Jake's hand, making him face her. "Don't be so jealous... You have nothing to worry about."

Jake sighed, closing his eyes. "Yeah, but..you had some good chemistry didn't you?" he asked, staring down at Charisma. He never liked feeling small, but he just had to be assured. He didn't want to face his brother's pain too.

She wrapped her arms around his waist and smiled up at him. "We did... But we were also teenagers going though a tough time. It ended a while ago. He may still be hung up on me, but I'm totally over him... Don't be jealous or worried..."

Jake smiled, kissing her softly. "That's good. So, go get your other bag. I guess I can just take a shower now and get it over with." he said, stretching and putting his car keys in his pocket.

"Why don't you wait a little while and take a shower with me?" She smiled, leaning up onto her tip toes. She was still really short, but, her nose was now to his lips.

Jake laughed and bent down, kissing Charisma softly, slowly pressing her against the wall. "Why not do that now?" he mumbled against her lips, kissing her again.

She smiled, kissing him back but then pulled away. "Because Dustin is waiting for me." she said.

"Aw come on....You'll be first this time.." Jake kissed Charisma's neck, caressing her. Dustin however was wondering why it took so long. "Geez, he arguing with her?" he mumbled.

She shook her head and pulled away, going to her room. "I'm sorry baby... I'm tired and I want my laundry done."

Jake twitched. "Yeah, I gotcha. I guess I can...ugh, do whatever." he shrugged as he walked to her guest room, making sure it was at least cleand presentable. Then again, Charisma made sure of that. She was tidy to a certain point.

Charisma nodded, getting her laundry and also some of Jakes that was left at her apartment. Sometimes she would rent the room out to people needing it for a while, so her guest room was pretty nice. She made her way down to the apartment laundromat and smiled at Dustin, putting her basket of clothes on a washer.

Dustin smiled back, chuckling. "Uh, what took you?" he asked as he finally started putting clothes into the washing machine. He didn't want to know, but obviously he had to get over it. The guy wouldn't leave until he left.

"Jake and I were talking that's all." She said softly as she started to separate her clothes.

"Sure, which explains the mini hickey on your neck?" Dustin laughed, nudging her in the side as he put in the detergent.

"That's none of your business." She said, a little irked at him. She was none of his business anymore.

"Why are you so pissy now?" Dustin asked, pouting and crossing his arms as he leaned against the humming machine.

"I'm not pissy. You're just really invading my life right now." she said, crossing her arms also.

"You didn't have to say yes to me...." Dustin muttered, looking down. "Is it that bad? Really?"

She sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "No. It's not that bad." she said and went over to him, hugging him gently. "It's good to see you again."

Dustin smiled, hugging back. "I did miss you, not just like in a romantic sense. You know that. We were best of friends.." he muttered, kissing her cheek and pulling away. "What happened after we broke up?"

"I moved on..." she shrugged, checking the time for the laundry. a half hour and she'd need to change it to the dryer. She started walking out, making sure that Dustin followed.

Dustin sighed, following after Charisma. "What if I couldn't?" he asked quietly, staring at her back as they walked.

She stopped and looked at him. "I'm in love with Jake now. Dustin I need you to understand that. I'm over you and I know that hurts, but... It's the truth."

"How long have you been with Jake?" Dustin asked, a bit curious. "Do you really love him? Like how you loved me?" he asked again, staring sternly.

"Do you really want to start this? It'll only cause you pain." she said softly.
