Jake grunted. "I'm not gonna fight him, yet. But if he tries anything, his ass is mine." he muttered, shaking his head and finishing off his fries. Once done, he saw Dustin come out. Was the idiot watching for them to finish? Dustin came to them, dressed in his casual clothes and not work clothes. "Are we going?"

"Could you get me a box for my food?" she asked. She barley ate any of it, her burger wasn't even touched. She looked over at Jake. "I'll eat it later."

Dustin nodded, heading to the back with her meal and getting a box for it. Jake sighed, rubbing his head. "Well, hopefully this guy is in and out within the week, preferably before the end of the weekend." he said, closing his eyes. "I promise not to get too overly jealous, ok?" he said, looking at Charisma and smiling.

She smiled and leaned over to kiss his lips. "There's nothing to get jealous over. I love you, only you and I always will."

"I know...My eyes are only for you, too." Jake said, smiling and holding her hand. Just a kiss and he felt better almost immediately. Dustin soon came back, smiling. "Shall we go?" he asked, too hyper. "Eh..yeah." Jake said, standing and stretching a bit, then taking his girl's hand, walking out to the car. Dustin would be lying if he said he didn't feel jealous.

Charisma would let Jake do whatever he wanted to do. She sort of wanted to show Dustin how happy they could be if he haden't left her when she really needed him.

Jake then went to the car with Dustin following behind. It was a naive way to let him do as he liked just to prove to the ex what he had missed out on. Still, it was good enough for him. As they got in the car, he looked at Dustin, "Sit in the back, ok?", he said, going in the driver's seat and making sure that Charisma sat in front.

Charisma gave Dustin an apologetic look as she got into the front seat and she sighed. "Baby, my clothes for tomorrow are at your house. I need to wash them so I can wear them" she chuckled.

Jake clicked his tongue and sighed. "Oh yeah, I forgot. Well, I got beer there too so, you can grab one for both of us." he said as he pulled out of the parking lot and drove to his apartment first.

She nodded, sighing. She was tired, she didn't feel like doing laundry, it was already still pretty late.

Once arriving at Jake's apartment, he waited for Charisma to get out of the car. "Ok, listen here, Dustin....Me and Charisma are together. Don't get any ideas about getting her to break up with me and get with you because you 'changed'. I know your game." he warned, glaring at him from the mirror. Dustin grunted. "I'm not going to try anything..." "Yeah, you better not..."

Charisma got her clothes and the beer that was in the fridge then came back out. She got in the car and sighed. She leaned her forehead against Jake's shoulder. "I'm tired..."

Jake nodded, kissing her head. "Ok, babe. I'll get you home and I'll do the laundry for ya." he said, driving out of the parking lot once more and towards her apartment. Dustin remained silent, wondering why Charisma chose such a jerk.

"No... You always do the laundry wrong." she smiled, sitting up. She turned to Dustin and handed him a beer. "You want one?"

Jake grunted, irritated already that Charisma was being so nice to her intrusive ex. Dustin smiled. "Eh, thanks." he said, grabbing the can but letting his fingers brush over her hand as he grasped the beer. Opening it like a pro, he drank eagerly. He needed to get a buzz before he felt the rush of pain. Jake took his after thanking her and drank his quickly as he drove.

Charisma sighed, seeing that Dustin was probably an alcoholic. She opened hers and sipped at it. For a girl, she was able to hold her own while drinking.

Dustin wasn't an alcoholic, but he had a fake ID so if he felt too bad for the way his life turned out, he could have a quick buzz. Jake could hold his own as well, but never got drunk. He soon parked in front of Charisma's apartment, getting out and grabbing her clothes and the beer pack. Dustin got out as well, following the two from the back and still silent.

Charisma dug into Jakes back pocket and pulled out his wallet. "You have some quarters?" she asked, opening his change pocket.

"For the laundromat?" Jake asked, not even flinching as Charisma dug into his back pocket. It was completely normal for them both to be so casual. Dustin only sighed loudly, finishing his beer can and throwing it into the nearest trashcan.

Charisma nodded. "Yeah. For the laundry. I don't feel like going upstairs and getting my quarters then coming back down." She pulled out some quarters then putting his wallet back in his pocket then patting his butt.

Jake grinned. "Yeah, I'm still gonna getcha tonight." he whispered in her ear, then glaring at Dustin after pulling away. The ex was almost having enough of this touchy nonsense. Dustin sighed as they then started their way to Charisma's apartment. "Would you like help with the laundry? You know I can wash clothes pretty well." he told her, smiling. Jake however almost readily wanted to punch him.

Charisma shrugged. "Could you watch these while I get my other ones?" She asked. since she had Dustins help now, she'd do all her laundry.

Dustin nodded, picking up the bag that Charisma was already carrying. "Ok, what am I to do? Just sit in the apartment by myself?" Jake asked, growling a bit. "Uh, I'll find my way to the laundromat down here." Dustin said, hurrying along as he followed the signs on the wall of the complex.

"It's not like you haven't done it before. You hang out at my place alll the time." she smirked, taking Jakes' hand then nodding at Dustin. "It's down there." she said, pointing.

Dustin nodded. "Ok, see ya there." he said aloud as he walked down the sidewalk. Jake sighed, going to her apartment door and staring at Charisma as she was opening the door. "What are you feeling right now? Like..towards him." he asked, looking worried.
