She turned red and nodded. "I did... hormones Daddy... I really couldn't stop it."

"Oi.....I'll forgive ya this time." Craig said, shaking his head as he left the room.

She sighed, reahching over for her cell phone. She dialed Dustins number and called him, really hoping he'd pick up.

Dustin heard the special ringtone he had for Charisma, making his cringe. The girl was calling him now? What for? Ice cream? He sighed, grabbing the phone and staring, deciding whether to answer or not. "God..." he mumbled, answering. "Yeah?"

"I'm so so so sorry I yelled at you." She started. "I'm really scared about these pills and I'm all Fu*ked up in my head. Can you forgive me?"

"Charisma, I just....I can only be there as a friend. Got it? I can't be closer than that. Those pills...they scare me. I'm not sure what could happen and if these kill you by some rare chance, I'll die too. I can't handle that." Dustin said, tears falling down his cheeks.

"Okay... then, then don't come around. Just don't... Please don't call us only friends. I need to be more than that with you. In 6 months, come back and I'll be better." she promised.

"I can't just cut you out of my life cold turkey...you know that." Dustin said, biting his lip and shuddering. Six months seemed like an eternity, despite that it was what he wanted.

She sighed. "I know... Call me. you know I'll pick up no matter what. If these really scare you enough to not want to be with me, then don't come around. It'll hurt both of us... But, I don't want you in more pain than necessary. I really do love you." she said softly.

Dustin listened, closing his eyes tightly. He did love her, truly. But..he didn't want to see her die slowly. He couldn't stand that. "I love you too, more than you can imagine but...I can't." he said, hanging up and sobbing almost immediately.

Charisma kept the phone to her ear a little longer, her heart breaking right there. She understood, really she did. She slowly closed the phone and started sobbing. She just really hoped they would be able to get back together once this was over.

Dustin choked on his tears, trying to breathe without crying at the same time. But it was impossible for him. Six months or more is torture. He fell asleep as he wept, hoping time would pass quickly.

6 months later, Charisma was fine. As long as she took her pills every morning, nothing would happen to her. She was walking down the street, a smile on her face. She was just told that if she was prepared, she'd be able to do her audition for Julliard again.

Dustin was sitting on the bench next to an Ice Cream shop, eating out of a cup. He sighed, playing with what was left. After six months, he just..didn't even look at the girls. All he could think about was Charisma. Yawning, he drank the rest of the ice cream in the cup and got up to throw it away. Seeing her, he stared.

Charisma smiled. Ice cream sounded good right now. Maybe she could buy some and bring it home for her dad and Uncle Howard. She turned to go into the shop then saw Dustin. Her smile went away a little. "Dustin..." she mumbled.

Dustin stared, staying silent. He wasn't sure to feel happy or sad, or even both. "Hey..." he said, gulping and backing away slowly. He didn't know what to do.

"Uhm..." She raised her arms in a ta-da manner. "All better." she smiled.

Dustin smiled back, nodding. "Yeah, I see that...." he said, walking towards her and hugging her tightly. "I missed you.."

She hugged him back, smiling. "I missed you too." she said. "But we really need to talk." she said, her smile goin away.

Dustin nodded, sighing. "What about?" he asked, trying to play it off as nothing.

"You know what." she said, sitting down at one of the tables. "You left me when I needed you most... what are you going to do if we get back together and I have a baby or something?"

Dustin sat with her. Then once mentioning a baby, he stared at Charisma. "Baby? We used to wear protection, I doubt I'm gonna be stupid and let that happen." he said, rolling his eyes.

"Accidents happen... And what if we get married? Are you going to leave me everytime you can't handel something?" she asked, shaking her head. She had lots of time to think about this.
