"There isn't much to talk about." she said as she pulled out a shirt that she always liked and shrugged out of her pants and shirt and bra and into the shirt. She went to lay with him, laying her head on his chest so she could hear his heart beat.

Jake took a deep breath, closing his eyes and smelled her hair. She always smelled good, like strawberries. "Ok, if you say so....You can tell me anything, you know that." he mumbled, rubbing her arm.

She nodded, rubbing his stomach lovingly. "I know I can. But... you basically know everything about me."

Jake chuckled. "I know. I just mean in terms towards your mother.." he mumbled, watching as Charisma rubbed his stomach.

She sighed. "I really miss her..." she whispered.

"I know baby...I'm sure you do." Jake said, kissing her head. "But I'm sure she's better wherever she is." he cooed.

"I hope she's not in pain. The last thing I remember is her screaming... I don't have any huge memories about her besides for me looking into her room while she slept, wishing she would wake up long enough for her to watch me dance. I do remember her reading stories to me. I treasured those moments." she said, almost breaking down into tears again.

"Baby....I'm sorry you had to go through that. I really am." Jake muttered quietly, hugging Charisma and kissing her cheeks, staring into her eyes. "Please don't cry....I know it's painful, but, I'm here."

She nodded slowly and moved so she was straddling his lap and her head was on his shoulder. "I just need you to hold me. I felt better when I cried with my dad and I need to cry now." she whispered, her forehead in his neck.

Jake nodded, sighing as he sat up more and held Charisma tightly. "Ok, cry away...." he mumbled, nuzzling her neck as well and closing his eyes.

She nodded and held onto him tightly, crying over the loss of her mom. She cried hard and was surprised, she hadn't cried in such a long time.

Jake was also surprised. He had never heard nor seen Charisma cry so hard. Still, he held her and rubbed her back.

Slowly, she stopped crying and started to fall asleep. She cried herself to sleep for the first time in at least 10 years.

Jake smiled weakly, glad that she fell asleep. But he also felt bad for her. She had lost her mother in such a horrible way. He was only glad that she at least turned out well because of her father and uncle. "I love you, my little girl." he whispered in her ear, closing his eyes and falling asleep as well.

Charisma woke up late that morning with her head on his chest and both his arms around her. She smiled and nuzzling into his chest, not wanting him to let go of her, not today.

Jake snored a bit, before opening his eyes slowly and looking around. "Hm...We slept in late.." he mumbled, thankful it was the weekend and he didn't work in the weekends.

"It's worth it." she whispered, not moving. She was comfortable and warm. She didn't want to move unless she really had to.

Jake chuckled. "Oh yeah, it is. Especially with a beauty in my arms.." he muttered as he cuddled her. "You don't have plans today, right?" he asked, wondering whether she still didn't want to see her mother's grave.

"I actually want to go to my moms grave." she said softly. "Later though. I want to take my time getting there."

"Ok, whatever works for you.." Jake nodded, kissing her head and rubbing her arms. He soon heard the drops of rain from the roof and around the complex. It was soothing and relaxing. "This isn nice..right?" he asked, smiling and taking a deep breath.

She nodded. "Yes, it is actually." She lifted her head and looked up at him. "If I get up to go to the bathroom, you wont move, right?" she asked.

Jake snickered. "I gotta go to the bathroom too, babe." he said, sighing.

She sighed. "Then I'll go while you keep this spot warm and then you can go while I keep the spot warm." she smiled.

Jake laughed and sighed, nodding. "Ok, go on ahead." he said, rolling his eyes and smiling as he watched her get up and go to the bathroom, closing the door. "Oi, what a girl." he closed his eyes, chuckling.

She washed her face and neck and then soon came back, smiling at him. Crawling into the bed, she cuddled close to him. "Hurry back baby."
