Finally a home~ Private

"I don't know... You might break my camera." she teased.

"Doing what?" Joshua asked, laughing and holding her hand, squeezing softly as they walked by the lake. It shimmered brightly, though he could see the two of them coming back someday, and with a kid or two as well. "You can imagine bringing kids here, having a great summer.." he mumbled, looking at the lake and back at her with a warm smile.

She nodded, rubbing her belly. "I could." She said, nodding. "We could have a nice summer home here or something."

"Eh, yeah, maybe just rent. By the time this kid's grown up a little bit, we'll be sucked dry." Joshua sighed, shaking his head and chuckling. He would love to spoil the kid, boy or girl, though preferably a girl.

She looked at him, smiling. "Do you want a boy or a girl?"

"Hmm....A girl. Mostly. But a boy would be awesome." Joshua grinned, imagining teaching him how to play football and all that manly stuff. A girl however, he could spoil to no end. "You wanted a boy, right? I'm sure that's what we'll get. It's common in my family to have a boy as first born." he smiled.

She smiled. "I really want a boy. We need to talk names... Do you mind if I name a boy after my brother and your dad?" she asked.

"Sure, go nuts. I don't mind." Joshua chuckled, smiling. "Hm, how about naming our daughter after your mom? What was her name?" he asked, thinking it'd be a nice tribute.

"My mom's name was Ilane. My dad always called her Laney." she smiled.

"How about Laney? That sounds cute." Joshua smiled, stopping in their walk and just holding Marley in his arms.

"If it's a girl." She said, wrapping her arms around his waist. for some reason this was hard. "But, I was thinking Jonathan Shawn for a boy."

"Not bad. I like it." Joshua said, smiling. "Jonathan Shawn it is." he repeated, nodding and kissing her forehead. "You ever try fishing? I think he has some equipment somewhere in the cabin." he said, grinning.

She made a face. "I don't like fish." She said, looking up at him.

Joshua kept himself from making a dirty joke. Coughing and grinning. "Ok, um...hm...wanna take a swim?" he smirked, winking.

She looked at him. "You were going to make a joke... What was it? Tell me." she said, giving him puppy dog eyes.

"No, it's nothing." Joshua laughed, shaking his head and smiling sheepishly. "Really, it's kinda dirty so no." he grinned, hugging Marley and rubbing her head as they continued walking.

She smiled. "You don't think I can take a dirty joke?" she asked.

"It's really bad. I can't." Joshua laughed harder, shaking his head. "Why do you want to know so bad? It's not that big a deal." he added, grinning and looking back at the lake. "Let's just enjoy the view, I'll tell ya later." he said, walking towards the shore.

She nodded and shrugged it off. It wasn't a big deal like he said. "I want some ice cream." she said randomly, seeing a sign for Tahoe Creamery.

"Ice cream? Eh, sure." Joshua muttered as he too saw the sign. Taking out his wallet and glad he took it with him, he followed where the sign showed to go. "What kind?" he asked, smiling.

"The blue berry one." she said, smiling. Usually she didn't like blue berries, but, she was having weird cravings right now.

"Huh, blueberry? Ok, whatever you say." Joshua smiled, seeing the small shop ahead. It was a good thing that it was a shop and not some run down little mini fridge with a scoop on the side. Going inside after Marley, he then went to the counter and ordered for himself a vanilla scoop in a cup and the blueberry ice cream for her. As they waited, he looked at her. "Hm, they say women glow when they're pregnant, I gotta say that they're right." he grinned.

She blushed and looked down at her belly. "I'm glowing?" she asked, now looking at him witha small smile on her face.

"Well you know, with joy. A mother's glow." Joshua chuckled, grabbing their ice cream and handing over hers after paying. Yawning, he sat down at a table and started eating small spoonfulls.

she smiled. "Can I sit in your lap?" she asked, holding her ice cream.
