Finally a home~ Private

She shook her head and pulled his clothes off. "You don't need to stay home. I have class tomorrow and we need the money you're making." she said softly.

Joshua stayed quiet but nodded. "Yeah....You're right." he mumbled, kissing her softly and getting into the tub, turning on the warm water. Still, the night came and went. It was soon the next morning and he had left for work, leaving a note next to a rose he had picked from one of the bushes outside secretly.

The note and the rose made Marley smile and she got up, starting her day. She was sad and a little sluggish but, still functional. She made her way up the stairs of the school but then, there was still no spot open on the bottom of the class. She looked at one of the young ladies in the front. "Can you move your stuff? I can't get up the stairs with the brace."
The girl shook her head. "You did it yesterday and I don't help you english. You kill my brother and my dad." She snapped.
It looked at if Marley was about to break down but she sighed, starting to make it up the stairs.

"Hey, that war is long over. Stop it, Ashley." a voice said aloud, getting up and walking over to the girls. "Move your stuff or else." he said, making the girl scoff and get up, flicking him off and going up a few rows. "There you go, enjoy the class. I'm Mike by the way." the boy introduced himself, holding out his hand and smiling.

She smiled at him, shaking his hand. "I'm Marley." she said softly then sat down at the class began. She drew what she was told to, adding lots of detail. She loved drawing.

Mike smiled, nodding as he sat down. He too started drawing, though his eyes kept going towards Marley. He had thought she was pretty cute. Once break came on for the students, he stood and walked over to her. "Wanna get lunch? I think you deserve it after being trashed like that by trash itself." he said, winking.

She smiled and nodded, standing and grabbing her stuff. "I'd love some lunch." She said softly. There was no reason not to flirt with this guy. What Joshua didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

Mike nodded, smiling. "Hey, you can leave you stuff here ya know. It's a break." he chuckled, stretching as he took his wallet from his backpack. Plus, Joshua would have no idea of knowing. No idea at all....

She nodded and put her stuff down again. "Thank you for defending me." She said softly.

Mike shrugged. "Eh, I don't believe in being an ass. So, yeah. No problem. I have an uncle that's English, so yeah." he smiled as they walked to the cafeteria in the school.

She got some food, paid for it on credit, the only thing she was able to pay with right now and sat at a table, ajusting her brace. It was starting to fall.

Mike then sat beside her once getting his sandwich. "So, what's with the brace?" he asked as he took a bite.

She looked up. "What do you mean?" she asked.

"Eh, I always wondered why you have it. Plus, it's more useless than useful." Mike said as he drank from his can of coca cola.

She looked at him. "About 6 months ago I was in a really bad car accident. My ankle was crushed, it's still kind of tender. My wrist was broken." She showed him her right hand, there was a scar where they had to cut in and fix her bone. "My knee was the worst of it and it's still healing. It hurts whenever I bend it and if I bend it the wrong way, it could give out on me and I could have no knee cap. so, I'd say it's more helpful than anything else."

Mike cringed, not wanting to imagine the pain she must've felt. "Damn....After all that, you deserve like the gold medal for putting up with so much." he said, whistling and shaking his head. Biting a big one out of the sandwich, he stared at the gold ring on her left hand. "So, Marley, you married?"

"Uhm... No." She said after a long moment of thinking. "I wear this so guys wont hit on me." she winked.

"Aw, so a guy repellent? That's a bit unfair." Mike said, winking. "I guess it's defective on me, cause I can't help but think you're cute." he chuckled, finishing his lunch and drink.

She smiled at him. "Likewise." she said about thinking he was hot.

"Wanna go for a drink later tonight then?" Mike asked, totally hyped up. He was relieved she wasn't married, or else he would've really been depressed. He had admired Marley, but didn't know whether to approach her or not.

She thought for a moment. "Uhm.... I guess I could." she smiled.

Mike whistled. "Great. So, the local bar then?" he asked as he stood and threw away his trash, sitting back down beside Marley.

She shrugged. She wasn't going to tell him she was only 19, there was no point. She wasn't pregnant and Joshua was always to tired to do anything with her and to scared to do anything to her if you catch my drift. She smiled at him. "I'll meet you there."

"Alright. Anyways, finish your lunch. I'll meet you back in class." Mike winked, getting up and walking back. Joshua would have no idea what was happening. Hell, he would be too tired to notice anything. Still, as he worked, he texted her. Miss you..

Marley felt a twinge of remorse as she red the text. miss you too. she replied. She would probably break down after her date tonight, she was never good at any type of cheating.
