Werewolves and Humans: Together in Spirit

Sam walked after him quickly, keeping up fairly easily.

Fenrir let out a soft whispering growl and soon he heard the reply. Fenrir nodded and walked on knowing what was ahead of them now.

Sam looked at him curiously when they stopped, and then again when they walked on after a short pause.

Fenrir lead her for almost an hour till he reached the cave of the bear they had dealt with earlier.

Sam looked at the cave curiously and looked at the wolf, wondering what he was bringing her here for.

The bear slowly came out, very much frazzled and looking distressed and untrusting.
"Humans, scared her"

"That's understandable... I'm sorry we scared you," Sam told the bear softly, sitting down. "We were trying to help... I guess you didn't need or want it. I'm sorry," she apologized again.

Fenrir told the bear who just grubmbled about how the humans always hurt animals without them understanding. Fenrir agreed and looked up at sam.
"Animals, fear you. All you."

Sam nodded. "That's understandable, too..." She thought a moment. "If I talk to the rangers, will you let me know when an animal does need our help," she asked the wolf. "Maybe we could work something out that way...?"

Fenrir looked at the bear and translated. The bear stated a good point and Fenrir smiled.
"Animals, fine before men."

'Ouch... That's cold,' Sam thought and sighed, nodding. "Yeah... We kinda screwed things up, didn't we," she smiled sheepishly. "I'll talk to the rangers," she promised. "Make it so that we just clean up after storms and keep hunters out. That kinda stuff..."

Fenrir told the bear then playing the part of devils adovcate he told the bear that humans helped a lot when it came to medicenes. The bear reluctantly agreed taht it's foot was better.'
"Humans help heal, when animals come to human."

Sam nodded. "It's a deal," she said and looked back at the bear. "I'm really sorry we scared you. I hope you can forgive us."

The bear made her way back into the cave. Fenrir laughed a wolfy laugh, "She say never."

'That's cooold,' she thought and sighed. "I guess that's fair enough," she mumbled.

"Go home now, bear needs rest." Fenrir said laying outside of the bears den.

Sam nodded and stood slowly, then started back the way they came, wondering what had made that wolf so special that he could talk. Actually talk.

Fenrir closed his eyes and relaxed his jaw. Speaking in human to0unge as a wolf was very tiring and hard for him.

Sam eventually found her way back to her cabin and immediately called the head ranger, suggesting that they start focusing on trespassers, since she'd seen more evidence of hunters as of late. The head ranger agreed and hung up to call the other rangers.

Sam figured that ought to hold the situation for a while, since they'd need to gather evidence of the trespassers and make their warrants and arrests. It could take anywhere up to a year or so to catch all of them. Maybe longer.

Fenrir fell asleep quickly and enjoyed the rest he had from it. He hoped she would learn a lessson and keep out of the animals way.

Kicking her shoes off, Sam pulled the ponytail out of her hair and shook her hair out, pulling the hair tie onto her wrist as she crawled into bed and fell asleep.

Fenrir woke up woke up hours later half asleep but still tired. he looked up and frowned, it was still dark.

Sam slept through the night peacefully and woke up groggily. She made herself a cup of hot tea with four scoops of sugar, like normal, and sat down to turn on the news to watch as she woke up the rest of the way.

Fenrir lazily made his way back to his clothes and became a man again then slidded into his clothes.
"Damn itchy clothes."

Sam got her clothes on and pulled her boots on. She was going to go check the borders around the forest to make sure no hunters had walked across the mud that separated the forest from their properties.
