Werewolves and Humans: Together in Spirit

Dressed as a human Fenrir started back to his meat supplies.
"Oh GREAT!" he groaned seeing most of the food gone.

Sam walked out the door, pulling her cap on and grabbing her camping supplies out of her jeep. It would take one and a half days to check her portion of the border of the forest for any signs of human tracks.

Fenrir's stomach growled discontently, "Damn birds." He mumbled sadly looking around wondering if there was a way to track them.

Sam pulled her camping back pack onto her back and started for the border of the forest, taking a rest from the heavy book bag about every hour or so.

Fenrir never found the theiving birds but made a small feast out of a young rabbit on his land

Sam finally made it to the border and started walking along it, keeping her eye peeled for any other human tracks along the muddy path.

Fenrir smiled as he smelt Sam, but keeping his human form he began to walk to her.

Sam walked slowly, making sure she didn't miss anything. Soon, all of her focus was on the ground and the prints in the drying mud. She didn't notice anything else around her.

"Hey ranger!" Fenrir said with a loud laugh as he got withen ten feet.

Sam jumped and looked to where the sound was coming from. She relaxed once she saw it was the man from earlier. "Hey, there," she smiled, stopping. "What brings you this far out," she asked curiously.

"Well, a very enteresting moment with a bear not long ago, i wanted to check on it." He asked kindly

"Did you already check on it? How was it," she asked, a little worried about the bear herself. But the bear obviously didn't want or need her help. She couldn't help it.

"I've net checked, i was wondering if you rangers have, i've been worried about it." Fenrir said looking in the woods.

Sam smiled sheepishly. "This is going to sound crazy, but I did last night. A wolf led me to her den. She seemed scared, but she was alright."

"Oh, which wolf their are lots of packs on this land." Fenrir said looking at her curiously.

"I'm not entirely sure he belongs to a pack," she admitted. "He's larger than any alpha I've seen, and he's black. He just seams to roam around the forest with no one opposing him."

"Odd, i've never heard of a loan wolf getting that big." Fenrir addmited a little worry in his voice.

"Neither have I," she admitted, thinking. "The wolf ran back into the clearing after you left and made sure the bear was alright, then peed on my jeep, growled at me, and walked away. The previous night, he'd come into my cabin with a white alpha and his hurt pup, then left after they did, but in a different direction."

"Perhaps he is part of the white alpha's pack?" Fenrir sudjested kindly to her.

"I guess," she shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe some packs have more independent pack mates," she pondered to herself.

Fenrir shook his head, "I've never known a pack like that."

"That's weird... I guess I have more research to do," she shrugged.

"Tell me about your research when you get more info." He said with a smile.

"I will," she promised with a smile. "Though I have no idea where you live. I guess I can tell you once I run into you again," she chuckled.

Fenrir nodded, "May be sooner then you think, i don't want to risk the chance of this giant wolf hurting any cubs."
