Here We Go Again (Two Others, mkay? :D )

(Kay! ^-^ Good name actually.)

Brittany fell into a near-coma sleep. She knew that Justin was beside her, which was more than she could ask for. He would need sleep, but he was gonna stay there in the hospital with her.

Alora shook her head. "Really, I'm fine." she replied. "It's just the meds..." She shrugged and stuck her hand out the window as he drove, liking the feel of the wind flowing between her fingers.

Justin dozed off in the chair, laying his head back against the back of the seat, still holding onto Britt's hand.

Deryk glanced at her worriedly again, but kept going towards the mall. He parked fairly close to the entrance and opened her door. "What do you want to eat," he asked.

Brittany sighed in her sleep, turning on her side. She shouldn't have because of the stitches, but she did anyways. Yeah, it hurt... But hers and Justin's hands were just shy of her nose as she slept, curled up in a small ball near the edge of the bed.

Alora chuckled, getting out. "Well, food would be good... Some that isn't poisonous... Or anything that isn't alive or moving..." She shut the door, smiling.

Deryk stared at her. "Yeah... You're definitely out of it... You stumble once and I'm taking you home," he told her, shaking his head, walking inside with her. "How about... pretzels? That should be easy on your stomach," he thought out loud.

Justin dozed on, oblivious to her movement or the chilly temperature of the hospital room.

Brittany woke up suddenly, hearing an annoying buzzing. She sat up and grumbled incoherent words. The buzzing had stopped. She blinked, rubbing her eyes as a nurse walked in. "You called Brittany?" "Hmm.. .Oohmn... Deh... Mehbeh... Ionno..." The nurse chuckled. "You fell asleep against the call remote.. That's okay..." She blinked, a look of doped-upness on Britt's face. "Mmm... Mkay."

Alora thought for a moment about pretzels: their saltiness and cheesiness that often comes on the side. "Mmm... Pretzels sound tasty.. And you wouldn't really take me home if I stumbled would you? Cause that wouldn't be very nice... And then I'd be home... And I don't want to be home."

Justin jumped awake. "Whassgoinon," he mumbled, his eyes half open with sleep. Hearing that she fell asleep against the call remote, he yawned and laid back in the chair and fell back asleep.

Deryk sighed. "Alright, I won't take you home. But I will take you to my house," he told her. "We can watch movies there, and I can take the pretzels home if you want," he said.

Brittany watched Justin smiling. She had never really slept with a pillow before, so she took the one that was behind her and set it right behind Justin's head, kissing him before the bending forward became too much for her.

Alora kinda sighed but didn't really argue. She just had to make sure that she didn't stumble. Even if she did, would it be that bad since she wasn't going home.

Justin murmured something intelligible and went back to snoring softly.

Deryk walked to the pretzel stand and bought two pretzels. "Do you want cheese or pizza sauce," he asked Alora.

Brittany smiled, laying back all the way. Muuuuch better now. She curled her other hand up on her stomach, closing her eyes and fell asleep.

Alora chuckled. "I would prefer cheese. You know, the kind of cheese you eat pretzels with?" She really wasn't paying attention to what she was saying, more or less making her vision fade in and out to keep herself entertained.

Justin woke up about an hour later, yawning. He looked over at Brittany and bent over, kissing her forehead.

Deryk eyed her for a minute before returning to the clerk. "Cheese is fine," he answered, then glanced at Alora worriedly again before he paid and took their food. "C'mon. Let's go sit down," he told her, gently guiding her towards an empty table.

Brittany felt his lips on her forehead and smiled, sighing. She chuckled, tilting her head up a little more. She pressed her lips to his chin with a grin.

Alora arched an eyebrow at him when he looked at her as if she was crazy. She followed him and waited for him to sit down at the table. She walked over next to him, clasped her hands behind her back and leaned down, her lips next to his ear as if she were to whisper something to him. "I'M NOT CRAZY!" She shouted with a grin then went and sat down across from him, eating her pretzel and cheese as if nothing had happened. "So, what movie you wanna go see?"

Justin smiled, stroking her hair softly. "How you feeling," he whispered, caressing her cheek.

Deryk blinked, wondering if she was going to kiss him for a second, then winced when she shouted in his ear. Of course she wasn't going to kiss him; what had he been thinking? He sighed. "Whatever," he mumbled. "I don't care. It's your choice," he told her, eating his pretzel. He didn't look up at her, just down at his food. He wasn't really mad at her, he was mad at himself for giving his hopes up all the time; thinking she loved him back and then being proven wrong.

Brittany smiled, kissing his hand. "Babe, I'm loopy as all get out... But other than that, I feel just fine."

Alora shrugged, thinking for a minute. "Hmm.... let's see..... we could watch maybe The final destination. Or The Proposal. Or maybe Funny People.... Which do youthink?" she asked, looking over at him. He seemed a little upset, but she hadn't realized what she had been doing before until she had done it. She took a bite out of her pretzel dipped in cheese and looked over at him thoughtfully. He was actually pretty cute. Why hadn't she noticed this before? Oh, and his eyes......

Justin chuckled and kissed her. "Well, when you're hooked up to the IV like this, you kinda look a little loopy," he teased.

"I just said: whatever you want to watch. Go ahead and pick one," he said, trying his hardest not to sound grumpy as he chewed his pretzel, glancing up at her. "What's that look for," he looked at her suspiciously.

Brittany rolled her eyes with a goofy smile. "Well, you look pretty goofy yourself love, and you don't have any tubes hooked up to you." She grinned, kissing him back.

Alora almost didn't catch what he said. She looked away pretty fast, realized she had been kind of staring. "Sorry, just thinking. I guess Funny People...." she said, looking down at her food as she ate. She seemed to have put him in a bad mood, though she hadn't meant to. She finished up her pretzel and walked over with her stuff to the trash. She threw her napkins and such in the garbage and let her eyes wander, not letting them accidently land on him too long again.

Justin laughed. "Well, thanks, babe. Nice to know you love me for something other than my good looks," he chuckled.

Deryk finished and threw his trash away. "Alright. Funny People it is," he said. "C'mon, let's get going. I think the earliest one starts soon." He hated to think it but... Maybe he should just give up on the hope that she might love him back. Face it, they'd been friends for years - he'd loved her since the beginning - and he'd watched over her, being tortured in the process, as she went from guy to guy to guy, hoping to find her Mr. Right. Maybe he wasn't her Mr. Right. Maybe he was just her best guy friend - well, maybe best friend period - who was always there for her, no matter what. Maybe he should be looking at other girls. But he was never one to try to make Alora jealous, or try to.

Deryk sighed as they walked, shaking his head at himself. 'God, how lame am I,' he thought, grumbling.

Alora walked next to him and intwinded her fingers with his, sending him a smile. She hoped she could maybe get him in a better mood. She didn't like him in such a bad mood, because she could tell he was in a bad mood. "I'm game!"

Brittany smiled. "Of course I do! Cause I'm as shallow as my mom, and we all know what she married..." She sat up, sighing. "I can say, though, that the pain is no longer feelable..."

Deryk blinked down at her, feeling his cheeks turn slightly pink. He smiled back softly, holding onto her hand. "Well, then, let's go," he chuckled. Okay, maybe he shouldn't give up. Not just yet.

Justin helped her sit up, chuckling. "Feelable, huh? Take it easy, baby," he murmured, not wanting her to get an extended stay at the hospital. He didn't like hospitals. They smelt weird.

Brittany laughed, kissing his cheek as he helped her up. "So chivarous. Such a sweetheart. And caring... Gentle... Kind... Loving... That's why I love you babe..."

Alora smiled back and walked with him back to the car. Yeah, she prefered him happy. Her legs felt like they were going to give out and she knew it was the meds, but she wouldn't let it happen. Instead she was sure to be careful with her steps.

Justin kissed her softly. "I love you, too, babe. I don't want you ruining that fix they did on your lung. I want you to get better sooner."

[They're going back to the car? What happened to the movie? o.o;]

Deryk noticed she was having to work to keep from stumbling. "Hey, you sure you don't want to go home," he murmured. Hell, he'd carry her home if he had to.

Brittany sighed, staying sitting up. "I'm not stretching the stitches too much. And besides, I'd rather be able to talk to you..."

(Oh crap! I'm sorry! I'm not used to the movie theaters being in the malls down here... >>)

"I don't want to go home.." she mumbled, and then realized she was heading towards the car. "Ooopps. Wrong way. I'm blamin the meds again.." She headed back towars where the movie theatre would be. she couldn't believe she was so.. out of it. She would have to remind herself to not take pain meds again, or at least take them until it wasn't too bad and then stop....

Justin kissed her forehead. "You want me to stay here with you overnight," he asked, stroking her hair.

[Ohhh. XD We don't go to theatres outside of malls. Around here, the stand-alone theatres are filthy - poorly taken care of]

Deryk chuckled, walking with her. "If your legs get too tired, I can carry you inside," he told her. "That pain medicine has to be making you tired, if not numb by now."

Brittany chuckled. "Only if you promise that you'll stay all night... And possibly sleep up here with me... This bed is majorly over-sized for one person..."

Alora arched her eyebrow. "Carry me in? To the movies? Oh no no no. No no no..... I'm scared of heights ya know. Of npot having my feet on the ground..." she said, looking over at him. She wouldn't handle it well if he did end up having to. "I just, you know..." She leaned a bit against him to take some of the weight off herself and to stable herself. "See? I'll be fine.."

Justin smiled. "Alright, babe. I'll sleep with you," he chuckled. "All night," he promised, kissing her softly.

Deryk turned pink when she leaned against him; he put his arm around her to support her weight. "Alright," he murmured. "But if you crash during the movie, then I will carry you out," he told her. "You need rest."

Brittany laughed, moving over some so that he could lay down too. "Thank you babe.. But that didn't exactly sound the best... Beautiful phrasing love..."

"Alright, agreed" she said with a slight smile. They reached the lttle theatre area and she walked with him up to the spot to buy the tickets. Her head was just buzzing at the moment, so she didn't see herself falling asleep.
