Here We Go Again (Two Others, mkay? :D )

"Alora," Deryk said, worried, and laid his hand on her shoulder, walking in front of her and stopping. "Hey, are you alright," he asked.

Justin waited for her, not turning around to look at the damage he'd done. When he heard Britt's footfalls coming back to him, he started walking again, slowly.

Alora stopped abruptly, looking up at Deryk. "What do you think? Do I look alright? Cause truthfully, I can't feel anything... I'm numb... Maybe it's shock."

Britt caught up with Justin and walked with him down the empty hall-way, looking down at their feet. They walked in perfect synchronization, despite everything that was going on. She sighed, looking up. "Oh hell, the bell's already rang..."

Justin shook his head. "Don't matter... Last day of school," he muttered, sighing.

Deryk shook his head. "You look like a zombie... Hey, I got an idea. You wanted to go on a road trip, right? Let's go right after school. We can take my dad's RV, fill it up with food and gas, and just go."

Alora smiled a tad. "Well, that sounds brilliant. I don't know about you, but I'm not goin to the rest of my classes. So either you'll have to find me or we go now.."

Brittany smiled, looking up at him. "What do you want to do then?"

Deryk nodded. "Then let's go," he offered her his hand. "Let's go pack our stuff, load up the RV, and get going," he said softly. "We'll be on the road for however long you want, wherever you want to go - no questions asked."

"Dunno," Justin said. "What do you want to do?"

Before she could change her mind, she nodded and walked out of the school by one of the side doors. "Let's go" she said quietly, and decided she'd walk home. She'd leave a note for her parents. They wouldn't care. And it seemed clear that Britt preferred her now ex boyfriend as a friend over her. She seemed bothered for maybe a moment, and then ran after him, as if he'd need it. "Meet me at my house?" she said over her shoulder, and began home. It wouldn't be too long of a walk, maybe 10 minutes.

"Yeah, I'll come pick you up before we go to the store to pick up food and fill up on gas," he told her and went to his car, driving it home. He packed his clothes and took his bag to the RV, setting his bag on the ground, and started cleaning the inside of it, making sure the beds had fresh sheets, instead of musty old ones, and the water and electricity worked.

Brittany chuckled. "Well... I kinda want ice-cream... Or to go see a movie... I just don't want to be at school... This wasn't exactly the best last day of school ever, so I'd rather leave now and put it behind me ya know?" She leaned against him as they walked down the halls, looking in some doors while darted past others.

Alora reached home and went up to her room. She sat at her desk and worte her parents a note. They weren't often around, so they wouldn't really miss her much. She packed some clothes, all kinds. A couple pairs of shorts, many jeans, some t-shirts and some tank tops. She had to get over this. She wouldn't even think about when they would come back. She just couldn't believe she had at least Deryk there to be a good friend to her, though sometimes he left her a little lost in his actions. She packed they rest of her stuff and then headed down to the kitchen, where she sat. She set the note down next to her and just waited for him.

When Deryk was done cleaning the inside of the RV and made sure it ran, he grabbed his bag and put it on the seat before he plopped into the driver's seat, making sure he had his money in his pocket and his drivers' license, and then drove over to Alora's house, parking in front of it, and opened the door, walking to her front door and opening that door. "Hey, Alora? I'm ready to go when you are," he called.

Alora nodded and went to her room for a moment. She had her money stasehd there, and took abuot 1,000 out of her savings. It was best to keep plenty on her, in case something happened while they were out. She stuck it ion her pocket(she hates purses) and walked back downstairs with all her stuff. "I'm ready to go" she told him with a slight smile. Better to leave now than later.

"Let's go see a movie, then," Justin suggested, not wanting to be in the building anymore than Brit did. "What do you want to see," he asked her, walking with her down the hallway.

Deryk nodded. "I'll help you," he offered, taking one of her bags and walking it out to the RV. "You want the big bed or the smaller one," he asked her, setting her bag down by his, at the table. "You're welcome to either."

"Thanks. And I prefer the smaller one. Just because" she said with a shrug. She preferred smaller spaces sometimes, and this was one of those times. She picked up her other bag and loaded into the RV. It was kinda cozy, the way she liked it. Her mood was already a little better. She smiled a little and set her stuff down. "Where to first, do you think?"

Brittany shrugged, opening the door to the outside. She trudged out onto the main lawn. "I don't care... You know what? Let's go see something really goofy. I don't feel like seeing some big action flick or a horror film. Let's go see something like Ice Age or G-Force or whatever..." She smiled, turning back to face him as she walked towards the road. "Maybe The Proposal? Ryan Reynolds has only gotten funnier."

"Okay," Deryk said and got into the driver's seat. "Well, first onto the gas station, then to the dollar store; it'd be cheaper to get snack stuff there. We can get however much food you want; dad had a full-size fridge installed," he grinned at her, trying to get her mind off of her troubles. "Come on up, have a seat. Or explore the RV," he chuckled. "I cleaned it before I came over. You're welcome to inspect my work."

Justin nodded. "Sure, let's do it. The Proposal it is," he said, getting his keys out of his pocket.

Alora came over and sat by him. She would check out his handy-work later. She was glad he cleaned it up, though it meant she would have less to do to keep her mind off things. "Great. I love the gas station. And Dollar General!" she said with a grin. She might as be silly. He was great at keeping her mind off things. And what better way to find new boyfriends than to meet them as she went through the states? A date here and there won't be too bad. Maybe they could do a double date. They could each find someone, so it could be fun.

Brittany smiled, reaching for his keys but instead grabbed his hand. She knew he liked her and he knew that she liked him, but for some reason, she still blushed. She slowly pulled her hand out of his, looked over him. "Oh... Ah... Uh, so... Do you, maybe, want me to ride with you?" She bit her lip, in total disbelief that she was so suddenly shy around him. "Cause... Ya know.. If not, I can always take my truck... But, if you want me to ride with you... That's cool too... So... Yeah.... Uhm, it's up to you..."

Deryk wished she would see how he felt about her; the same way he'd felt about her for years now. He couldn't remember when he'd fallen in love with her, but he knew he fell - hard. "I was wondering where you wanted to go first, after we leave the Dollar General," he told her.

He held onto her hand, being comforted by the contact. "Yeah, sure. I don't mind if you ride with me. We can come and pick your car up later," he said.

Brittany blushed, smiling some. "Alright... That sounds fine with me...." She walked with him to his car, her hand still in his. She didn't know what to feel right now... She was still a little hesitant because of what had just happened between Justin and her best-friend so she felt as if she were betraying Her... But, at the same time she knew she liked Justin as more than a friend and denying that would be betraying herself... She was truly lost right now.

Alora shrugged, getting comfortable. "Doesn't matter. Let's just go where the road takes us. It makes more of an adventure that way" she said with a smile. This was her first time getting to do this, and already felt quite excited about it. Her mind kept on wandering to Britt and Justin, and she had to fight to keep them off her mind.

Justin opened her door for her and closed it once she got in, then got in the driver's seat, driving to the mall. He still felt bad about Alora, but he did like Brit, and he knew she liked him. Why else would she be acting shy like this, with her outgoing personality?

Deryk nodded, smiling. "You got it," he said, parking by the gas pump and putting the nozzle into the gas tank and filling it up. He paid at the pump, so it was faster, and then got back into the car to drive to dollar general. "Come pick out some snacks with me," he smiled, offering her his hand. "We can pick up some ice cream, too, if you want."

Justin tried to keep his mind clear, his thoughts away from Alora. Sometimes it was hard, especially since Brittany was her best friend. He could hardly think of one without thinking of the other. He managed, however, and parked his car in the mall's parking lot, cutting off the engine and getting out.

Deryk smiled and laughed, saying the saying along with her as he held onto her hand. They walked inside; Deryk grabbed a cart; he knew they'd get a lot of food and a couple cases of bottled water, so they wouldn't have to stop to pick some up later. "Go ahed and pick out the ice cream. I grabbed some metal utensils from my kitchen, so we don't need plastic ones... I'll get us some paper cups and plates," he smiled and went to get them really quickl

Alora nodded, starting on her way back towards the food aisle. I'm thinking Cookies N Cream.... Or Chocolate.. Or Vanilla... She didn't like being tasked with decisions because she always failed at picking the right thing. She finally reached the right aisle and looked around. She decided on Chocolate: It was harmless, simple, and no one could argue with it.

Brittany blushed, stepping out of the car after Justin had gotten out. She closed the door with a bump of her hip, speeding up a tad as she walked in order to catch up with him. "So... Do you want to look around before the movie first or what?"

Deryk picked up paper plates, cups, and napkins (and some paper towels and toilet paper while he was at it), and made it back to the ice cream isle. "So, what's on the menu," he asked her with a smile.

Justin grabbed her hand, almost subconsciously. "We could walk around if you want. It's all up to you," he smiled at her, trying to keep his mind off of Alora. It was getting a little easier, at least, with Brittany to occupy his thoughts.

Brittany blushed, kind of glad he'd taken her hand. She walked with him, shrugging. "I can do whatever..." She smiled warmly up at him. "Oh... But I did want to get a newish CD... But I can get that whenever..." She blushed again, realizing that she sounded completely goofy.

Alora shrugged, pulling out chocolate. "Is chocolate okay? Cause I don't know your preferences to ice-cream. So if I'm getting it wrong, tell me now." She said, raising an eyebrow as if to say Well?

Justin smiled at her. "Then we'll go get your CD," he said, walking towards the music store. "I was needing new headphones anyway."

Deryk smiled at her. "Whatever you want. I like all kinds. But please, don't get that fat free or sugar free stuff," he frowned. "That's nasty... Oh, did you pack your toothbrush? I gotta pick up toothpaste..."

Brittany smiled, walking into the store. She slowly released her hand from his and walked over to the new release shelf, pulling the Shinedown CD off the bottom shelf. "Perfect..."

Alora laughed. "Of course I wouldn't get sugar-free. What kind of person do you think I am? I prefer sugar-enduced comas." She smiled at him then. "And yes, I brought my toothbrush. It's out in the RV with the rest of my stuff..."
