"I love you, too." Kimberly said softly, gently kissing his cheek. With all of her heart, she meant it. A soft sigh of contentment passed her lips, and she rested in her arms. She knew that eventually they would have to get up and check on the kids, but for just a little bit longer she wanted to relax in the embrace of her lover.

Within a half an hour, Kimberly was up from the bed. She reluctantly stepped into the shower and started to wash herself. Once she had finished showering, she quickly dressed and brushed her hair out. With one last look at Damien, she then left the room to check on the children.

Kimberly smiled seeing her son, and gently sat down beside him in the couch. "Hey, Sweetie." she murmured, despite knowing the fact that he was asleep. Leaning over, she kissed his forehead. He was her little angel, just like Robyn.

"Hey," she said for the second time, brushing his blonde hair from his eyes. "How did you sleep, Sweetheart?" Kimberly asked, kissing his forehead. She couldn't help but be protective of her son, probably because of the fact that he was her first born.

She smiled softly. "Would you like me to make you some lunch?" KImberly asked, gently scooping him up into her arms. Deren really was like a miniature version of Damien. Both posessed blonde hair and eyes as blue as the ocean. Most people had trouble believing that Kimberly was his mother. But somehow, Kimberly could see just a small bit of herself in him. Deren had inherited a lot of her characters traits, such as her shyness and compassion. Physically, he had inherited a small crescent shaped birth mark on his back, around the same area that she possessed the same birth mark on her own body.

"I love you, too, Sweetheart." she said, picking him up and taking him to the kitchen. Placing him down at his chair at the kitchen table, she then went to the fridge to see what she could prepare for him. Soon enough, she was working on making macaroni and cheese.
