Damien was tucking Deren into bed. The little boy was just tuckered out.

Kimberly was about eight months into her pregnancy. She was, of course, showing by now, and was also glowing, so to speak. They had learned that they would be having a girl a few months back, and both her and Damien were still trying to think of what to name their daughter.

" Night little guy" Damien smiled and kissed Deren's forehead.

" Daddy... bear" deren yawned.

Damien chuckled and picked up the bear and handed him to Deren. Deren curled up yawning cutely.

Damien put the nightlight on and walked out quietly and went to thier bedroom stretching his arms.

Kimberly was looking through a book with different names for their child. It hadn't been too hard to name Deren because according to Damien it was tradition in his family that the first male in his family's name always started with a "D". She wasn't sure what to name her daughter, though. Kimberly didn't want to go her such an over used named like Ashley and Emily. Her daughter would have a beautiful, unique name.

Damien yawned walking in pulling his shirt off and jeans. He grabbed sweat pants from his desk chair and pulled them on and went over and got into bed with Kim. " Find any good names yet love"

"Well, I've found a few." Kimberly said, looking over at one of the lists. She was in a section of the book where names were listed under titles such as "Nature Names", "Successful Names", "Exotic Names", and ecetra. "I kind of like the names Ivy, Ariel, and Robyn."

Kimberly raised a brow to her husband's reactions. "My mother's name is Ivy.." she said softly, but then nodded her head. "Robyn is pretty cute." It was probably best not to name her daughter after her mother, someone who in actuallity, she barely knew.

"It's fine." she said softly, placing down the book. "It wasn't as if you knew." Even she didn't know much about her mother. Sometimes she really wished that she did. But, hey. She was twenty three years old. It was way to soon in life to have any regrets.

A faint smile graced Kimberly's lips, and she turned gently to place a chaste kiss on his lips. "You know I love you." she said softly, gently brushing some of his blonde hair from his eyes. "With all of my heart." Kimberly added, chuckling softly.

A small smile graced her lips and she gently kissed him. "So, so much." she murmured softly, and then pressed her lips to his. He was her life. Damien was able to take all of the sadness out of her life and made her feels so incredible.

He had given her a life that she had always wanted. A loving husband, a beautiful three year old son, and another baby on the way. She was fortunate. Deepening the kiss, she wrapped her arms around him.

Kimberly smiled and nodded her head. "That's right." she murmured softly, her hand resting on her swollen stomache. By now they knew that they were having a girl, and just as Kimberly had the first time around, she had opted to do natural birth.

Kimberly couldn't understand his fear. She had done considerably well for someone who had been giving birth for the first time. Surely she would do even better now that this was going to be their second child. He was worrying too much.

Nervous of what? Women had been giving birth since the dawn of time. Not to mention the fact that she was also a vampire. Yawning softly, Kimberly laid down in bed. She had her first case in the morning.

"Goodnight, Dear." Kimberly said softly, her voice trailing off slightly. She was about ready to just fall asleep. between work and taking care of Deren and being pregnant, she tended to be really tired. Kimberly wouldn't be getting off of work for maternity league until a week before she was due.
