"I want to try." Ilane said, smiling. "If I fall then Jacob will catch me, I know he will." she said

The two who had not liked the idea moved aside and Ralene held her hand out for Ilane to take it so she could pull her close enough to fly.

Letting go of Jacob, She took Ralene's hand, letting her take her flying.

Ralene instantly took off and it was something straight out of a film. As she raised so did Ilane. That may have also been because Lea was behind her holding her up but barely touching her. Jacob moved under the three and watched.
"Where did you find a woman like that?" Ienzo asked and Aeleus nodded as well wanting to know.

Ilane smiled, holding onto Ralene tightly. She didn't want to fall, not because she was scared, but because that would be embarrassing. She looked around the house, everything was different, smaller.

"Ok, cause you can't really fly, Lea is going to have to read your mind. But just close your eyes and picture danceing in the air." Ralene said with a smile. Lea nodded and closedhiseyes picturing what ever Ilane thought.

Ilane nodded, closing her eyes and picturing herself dancing like the others had. She thought herself as graceful and not the clutz she really was.

Ralene smiled and danced as well and nodded to Lea who let her go but through the magik of Ienzo, she remained flying. Floating by herself, truely danceing in the air.
"I thought she said she was a clutz?" Aeleus asked Jacob who shook his head. She's not a clutz, she's just not as confident as all mortals are.

Ilane smiled, slowly opening her eyes. She really hoped that this wouldn't ruin the experince, she just wanted to see everything still. In the back of her mind, was the image of her dancing the way the others were. Floating in air was much more than she thought it would be. She felt free.

"Hey! Ilane, your flying!" Jacob called to her wearing a large smirk his long black hair falling over his shoulders.

Ilane smiled. "I know." she said back. Her eyes scaned everything, taking everything in.

Jacob laughed with her and slowly glidded up to her while the rest mearly watched and used magik to hold her up. Jacob's long black hair seemed almost motnionless as he flew, almost like a statue or a doll.

Ilane smiled at him, holding her arms out to him. "Hold me while we fly." she said. This moment was amazing, but being held by him, would make it better.

He smiled and put his arm around her and pointed his other at teh chandelier. Instantly Lea nodded and snapped his fingers setting the candles on fire

Ilane jumped and then smiled, looking at the candles around them and then back at Jacob. "I feel like I'm in some sort of movie... Like this isn't really happening."

Jacob laughed at her and looked down as they started to lower.
"Sadly it isn't, or i should say it shouldn't." A voice said walking from the darkness but not entering the light. Jacob and the others all turned and bowed slightly, then the family of vampires left leaving Jacob and Ilane alone with the mystery man.

Ilane started getting a little scared again and took Jacob's hand, hiding behind him. Things were getting serious again, she knew that moment wasn't going to last long.

The vampire stepped out of the dark, his face contorted with the wrinkles that showed his age. He was an ancient, but one who found his immortality almost at his grave, tired and weak, but wiser and more powerful with magic then the rest, except their lord. His name was of no meaning, he was just called, The Old One, or oldtimer behind his back.
Jacob kept a hold of her hand and squeezed it lightly.
"How did we break the code Old One?"

Ilane stared at this new vampire. He looked as if he would drop dead any moment. She held onto Jacob tightly with both hands, hiding slightly behind his shoulder.

"Ilane is being shown vampiric traits that take years of honeing. The code states show her the dark magic first. Show her the negetive of being a vampire before filling her head of hopes and dreams." THe old one said.

"I... I understand that there is a dark side to being a vampire." Ilane said, hiding behind Jacob. "There's a dark to every light, but I don't care. I want to be with Jacob. Forever."

Old one laughed and dust fell off him as he did.
"It's not how you think, it's only forever, as long as our boss says so. You see his blood is what created all of us. If he dies or decides he doesn't need us, we drop like that." Old one said snapping his fingers.
"Unlikely though, he is a soft hearted man, but also, he may require you to go to the harvest." The old one said looking at Ilane.

"The harvest?" She asked, her voice scared. She looked at Jacob. "What's the harvest?"

Old one didn't speak but looked at Jacob putting him on the spot.
"Ilane...i've only done it once...but that was enough. What it is uhmmmm well it is when he says you have to go out and get enough blood to feed him...and yourself." Jacob said biting his lip.

She looked at him, a little terrified. "I'm not sure I understand...." she said, shaking her head slightly.
