| Melody took in a small, shakey breath before talking again. "A-are you ready for training?" she asked, already sitting up and getting ready to get to her feet. She needed something- anything! - to get her mind off of his body. |

| Melody nodded her head. "G-good." she said, taking in a deep breath. Helping him to her feet, she then took in another breath and helped him up to his feet. "Race you..." she said, and then took off. |

| He sprinted after her as he felt little raindrops on his nose. | |

| The rain felt good against her skin as she ran. Her shorts only went up to her mid thigh, and her white tank top was already starting to become see through. Sighing, she used that as a reaspn to run even farther away from him. |

| It felt amazing to run, especially considering the fast that she ran faster than a humming bird's wings moved. When she was running, it felt like she was in her own little world, and nothing could touch her. Ever. |

| Once she had run the whole forest at least five times, Melody finally allowed herself to collapse into a pile of sweaty limbs and blonde hair on the ground. Breathing in deeply, she wiped at the sweat on her forehead, and sighed tiredly. Lordy, lordy. She was tired now. And the rain, which had gone from a drizzle to down pour, was not helping. |

| Seth was lost in the woods now. He couldn't find her. His vison was blurry and he couldn't make out anything in the down pour of the rain. " Melody!" he called out. Which wasn't the brightest move. He heard snarling from the bushes. He turned and came face to face with big red wolf. " Oh..." he fainted.
Charles rolled his eyes at the stupid young vampire. " I swear. They get stupider every bite." He flung Seth over his big shoulders and ran out of the forest to the house.
Charles sighed as he pounded on the door with his big paw " Carmella, I got one of your dumb ass kids here" he flung seth to the ground and shook out his fur. Charles was a blunt man but he had a good heart proven by his actions.

| Carmella opened the door, and wrinkled her nose seeing Seth sprawled on the floor. "Can't you ever be gentle?" she asked Charles, carefully scooping up Seth into her arms. "Even werewolves can be weak, you know." Sighing softly, she then thanked him, and went to put Seth upstairs in his room.
Melody remained in the woods, looking up at the trees, and the rain that feel from above. The trees in the forest were considerably thick, so it amused her that any rain could get through at all. That was Nature for you. Always surprising you. |

| " Ha. I haven't been weak since the pups were born. All fluffy and scruffy." he chuckled and scratched his ear with his back paw. " Mmmmm, beef stew." he sniffed the air. " Mind if I have a taste?" he said wagging his bushy tail and greeted Darrick with a nip on the hand. Darrick petted his head and went to go get another cup of coffee as he did the daily Sudoku in the newspaper. | |

| Carmella found it ironic that while Charles had used to be a bad ass hellion as a teenager he was now a watered down coot. "Sure." she said, going to get him a bowl. "No dogs at the table, though." she said, looking at his wolf form with an amused smile. |

| Carmella rolled her eyes, but placed down the bowl of stew. "Why aren't you home with Esme and the kids?" she asked. Luckily enough Carmella and Charles had been able to form a sort of friendship despite everything. And because of this friendship she knew just how much Charles cherished Esme. |

| Charles lapped the stew. " I'm going home after this" he said, " I saw that boy on my way home he fainted I brought him here." | |

| "I see." Carmella said thoughtfully, brushing some of her hair from her eyes. Taking the empty bowl from him, she went to place it in the sink. "Well, I guess he's lucky you found him. You didn't happen to see my granddaughter with him, did you?" she asked. |

| She sighed and absent mindedly stared out the window. Lizzy was considerably protective of her children. Knowing this, Carmella could tell that Lizzy wouldn't be too happen to know that Melody was out somewhere in the forest while it was raining.
Melody lied in a damp patch of grass, boredly staring up at the tops of the trees as drops of water leaked down. It was damp and cold, yet she didn't feel like getting up and retreating to the house. As a vampire, she had more endurance than humans and wouldn't get sick as quickly. This didn't mean, however, that she wouldn't get sick eventually. |

| Carmella sighed. "Would you?" she asked. Sometimes Melody was over confident and cocky. Most of the time she ended up getting herself sick because she stayed out too long, even when it had gotten dark and very cold. |

| "Thank you, Charles." Carmella said softly, and then took his bowl from the table. Placing it down in the sink, she sighed softly and looked out the window. Sometimes it was hard being the matriarch of such a large coven of vampires. Brushing some of her hair from her eyes, she then dropped her gaze. |

| Indeed. To think everything started with a old couch.
Darrick got up and nuzzled her neck. " My love bug, what is wrong."

| Carmella blushed softly feeling her husband near her, and turned slightly to look at him. "Oh, I'm just worried about Melody." she explained. Even if she was not Melody's mother, as the matriarch, it was almost an unspoken rule that she still needed to keep watch over everyone in the family. Closing her eyes and sighing softly, she rested her head against her husband's shoulder. "Sometimes it can very tiring worrying about everyone." |
