A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.1

'The only way to see if this is really true, is to go to my... our mom....' Sam said, standing up. 'This way.' she said, walking off.

[Yeah, sure. Are you picturing her harsh and demanding or soft and caring? I can picture her being either.]

Nick tilted his head, looking at Ilane and Al, and stood, shaking his fur. He crouched down so Ilane could get on his back and followed Sam.

((soft and caring.))


Ilane got on Nick's back and held onto his fur. She leaned down and kissed his cheek. "don't be scared." she whispered in his ear. "I'm with you."


Al bowned his head and followed them. He was scared his mom would blame him.

Rika was pacing, wondering what could have possibly taken her daughter so long. It never took her this long to hunt.

Nick looked back at her. 'I'm not scared. Just curious,' he told her.

Sam went to her mom, a little angry, a little nervous. 'mom... I found some wolves... from another pack.' she said.

"I'd be scared." ilane said, sitting up.

al just walked in silence

Rika perked her ears up. 'Sam, are you alright,' she asked and looked behind her. 'Who are they,' she asked and trailed off, recognizing the colors of their coats.

Nick tilted his head. This female certainly did look like the mother he remembered.

'This is Nick, his mate Ilane, and his brother, Al.' Sam said. 'Al says that I am Nick's twin. Is this true?'

Rika stared at her sons for a few seconds and nodded. 'Yes, Sam. Phoenix is your twin brother,' she said softly. 'Al, are you and Ed doing well?'

Nick wrinkled his nose at Ed's name, but said nothing.

Sam looked at Nick, shocked. She had brother...


Al sighed. 'We had to banish Ed. He broke the laws that you and dad set in place and tried to steal Nick's mate.'

Nick looked at Sam curiously.

Rika shook her head sadly. 'That Ed... Thank you for keeping our laws in place, Al,' she said and walked over to him, nuzzling him. 'I've missed you, son,' she said softly.

Al nuzzled her back, happily. 'I missed you too. So much...'

Rika gave him a wolf-smile and turned to Nick. 'When I last saw you, you could barely walk,' she chuckled at the memory. 'You've gotten so big!'

Nick nodded. 'You look the same from what I remember of you,' he admitted, making her laugh.

'So you do remember? That's wonderful.' She turned her attention to Ilane, smiling. 'My name is Rika, it's nice to meet you, dear.'

Ilane smiled, nodding. "My name is Ilane. I'm Nick's mate." she said. "I'm sorry that I can't turn into my wolf form right now. I feel a little weird being the only human, but, we think I might be pregnant, or hope I'm pregnant. We don't want to hurt the baby."

Sam smiled, going to nick and nuzzling him softly and shyly. 'I'm glad to meet you brother.'

Nick nuzzled his sister back. "I'm glad to meet, you, too, sister," he said and gave her a grin.

Rika smiled and shifted into her human form. "Oh, no, don't apologize, dear," she said and hugged her. "Welcome to the family," she said happily and looked at Al. "Have you given me any grandchildren yet, or is your youngest brother the only one," she asked, joking.

Al turned into his human form again and smiled at his mom. "I havent found a mate yet. I'm having to much fun chasing after the girls. Maybe I'll find a girl in your pack."

Rika laughed. "You are the same. You were always chasing the girls when you were little. Though, back then it was to pick on them," she chuckled.

Raini walked over to Rika, blinking at the newcomers. "Raini, who are they," she asked curiously.

Al looked at Raini and his heart dropped, she was beautiful. He bowed slightly, taking her hand and kissing it like a gentleman. "I'm Al. I'm an alpha of another pack." He said, smiling.

Raini blinked, blushing at the treatment. "Oh, welcome," she said. "My name's Raini. I'm not really anyone in particular," she smiled sheepishly.

"That doesn't matter." He smiled, straightening but keeping her hand in his. "You're beautiful."

She blushed. "Thank you," she said a bit shyly.

He smiled, letting go of her hand. "You're welcome." He said, instantly in love with this girl.

He was handsome, and very polite. Was he like this with every girl? She smiled. "We were about to eat dinner. Would you like to join us," she asked, looking to Rika to see if it was alright.

Rika smiled and nodded. "Yes, by all means, stay and eat," she extended the invitation to Nick and Ilane.

Sam smiled, turning human. She was a beautiful, tall young lady, looking a lot like Nick. "They cought a bear... Should we go get it?" She asked.

Nick nodded. 'I'll get it. Ilane, you can stay here if you'd like, love. We'll be right back,' he promised.

Ilane nodded and kissed his nose. "I'll see you soon." she said softly.

Sam turned into her wolf again and waited for her new brother.
