Antionette blushed gently. They were not an overly spontaneous couple and they were also not the kind of couple that went at it every night of the week. When the opportunity presented itself, however, it was hard for her not to accept it happily. She did love Richard, there was no point in questioning that. Physical love was another way to show him that she loved him. Nodding her head gently, she carefully brushed some of his hair from his eyes.

Spontaneous wasn't their middle name as a couple. They would do this kind of thing when it was possible and appropriate. But, with age came more hormones, for Richard anyway. Since the war was done with and now he had a family and such, he just felt like being random. Antionette sure didn't seem like she was complaining. "You don't have to give in if you don't want to..." he said, making sure she wasn't just wanting to satisfy him and get it done with.

Antionette raised a brow and then laughed softly. "I don't think I've ever just given in to fulfill your needs alone." she teased, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. She looked at him softly with the dreamy eyes of a lover and gently caressed his cheek with her hand. "I married you because I love you, not for your money like some would like to believe. And as someone who loves you, I want to love you in every way shape and form."

Richard sighed, staring into her eyes. What a woman. "You keep surprising me in the smallest of ways, love." he chuckled, feeling like a young boy again. He felt butterflies in his stomach all over and just felt very..comfortable, happy. "I love you." he whispered softly as he nuzzled her neck and let his head rest there in the crook of her neck. "Let's sleep, is that ok?"

"Sleep?" Antionette asked softly, chuckeling gently. Wrapping her arms around his strong form, she rested her head atop his and sighed softly. "Of course we can sleep," she finally said. "It's just funny when you were the one who wanted it so much. You got yourself all excited just to want to go to sleep." Laughing, she kissed the top of his head and closed her eyes. "But, sleep would be nice."

Richard grinned, sighing. "Well, who said I gave up? The night is long my dear, you never know." he teased, though obviously he slept like a log. The morning is when one should beware. Yawning, he held her as best he could in their entanglement and closed his eyes.
