She sighed and nodded, standing up and smoothing her clothes. "alright. Call me later?" she asked.

Mike grunted, "Yeah, I'll call ya..", getting up and going upstairs for a shower. He knew he needed one. Especially now that he had gotten so hot and heavy with Sami.

Sami walked home, really not wanting to face Alex. But, she knew she'd have to eventually. She took her time getting home and then slowly walked in. She bit her lip, looking around for Alex.

Alex had stayed in his room the time that she left and even when she came back. Only once did he come down and it was for a snack. Charlie was home however. He was in the kitchen, cooking spaghetti with meatballs and a side of garlic bread.

She avoided the kitchen and went upstairs, knocking on Alex's door. she wanted to make sure everything was okay.

Alex sighed, having had fallen asleep. "What?" he said aloud, just as rudely as when they first met.

"It's me, can I come in?"she asked softly.

"For what?" Alex muttered, getting up and kicking the door gently. "Just go."

She jumped and sighed. "Alex, please."

"Just go away. Seriously.." Alex answered.

"I'm sorry I hurt you." she said softly then left to her own room.

Alex grunted, closing his eyes tightly. Despite his efforts, tears ran down his cheeks. He truly was hurting on the inside.

Sami sighed, sitting on her bed. She felt really had for hurting him, something inside her had died and she'd never get it back. She really wanted to be with him but, all they were doing was kissing, there's no relationship in that.

That was a good point. But Alex had no idea how to even begin in a relationship. He had stayed away from that for so long that it was all new to him again. Still, it was no excuse. He did let it crash and burn. He sighed, getting out of his room and going downstairs for dinner just as Charlie called for the two.

Sami took a little longer before going downstairs and sitting silently at the table.

Alex took a sharp intake of breath and started eating. Charlie however could see there was tension. "Is something wrong, guys?"

"I don't know." Sami said, looking at Alex. "Is something wrong?"

Alex twitched. Of course she'd try to get the heat on him. Alex shook his head though, stuffing himself silly rather quickly. Charlie coughed, discouraged by the silence but continued eating.

Sami sighed and only picked at her meal. She really wasn't hungry. It was at this point that she really wanted to go home. To be with her parent's and her older brother. Her brother would know the best way to make things better, either by beating up one guy, or by never letting her cheat in the first place. As she sat there, thinking about it, she slowly started to feel resentment towards her family. For dyeing and not staying to help her. She started to really hate her brother for leaving her when he promised he wouldn't. A tear fell down her face but she wiped her eyes quickly and kept eating.

As dinner was finished, Charlie coughed. "Well, I'll be upstairs if you need me..." he mumbled, leaving the two be. He knew how his son was, but not Sami. She looked very upset. Alex however stayed quiet, eating his dinner.

Sami still only sat there, scared to say anything. She knew if she did she'd only make things worse.

"I understand. I mean, I pretty much just made out with you. Ok? So just..stop acting weird. I'm not a wuss." Alex muttered just as rudely as the day they met. He finished the last of his spaghetti and stood, taking a glance at Sami and going to the sink to wash his plate off.

She sighed, getting up also and putting her plate on the counter then rubbed Alex's back softly. "I'm sorry I hurt you, I made a decision based on how I feel. You shouldn't be mad at me."

"Look, can you drop it? I'm not mad, just at myself. I guess I was just uh...really stupid. I should've just taken you out like a normal guy. But obviously this isn't a normal circumstance to have a relationship." Alex muttered, moving away after cleaning his plate and putting it on the rack to dry. "Night." he said, though it was clearly still early in the evening as he went upstairs.

Sami sighed and then washed her plate and went to her room, sitting on her bed, her phone next to her and a picture of her parents and brother in front of her. She was really upset with them right now for dieing. It was a strange feeling, she'd never been mad at them for that before.
