((Aw, darn XD. Well eh, if you ever feel up to the challenge, ya gotta get the first and second))

Alex sighed, closing his eyes and staying outside her door. "You ok?" he asked, staring through the crack but only seeing her over her bed. Sami must've been reminded of something. Perhaps her family.

((I'll find a way to do it sooner of later.))

Sami sighed, nodding even though hec ouldn't see. "Yes, I'm fine."

"Um, do you want to watch the rest of the movie or no?" Alex asked, sighing and rubbing the back of his neck.

She shook her head. "No. It's alright. I'll watch it later."

Alex nodded, sighing. "Sorry again..." he muttered, going back to his room and watch the rest of the movie. He might as well, hoping that Sami might come back.

A little while later, Sami went back into his room. Her eyes were red from crying but she had a smile on her face. "Sorry I suddenly left." She said, sitting down but a cushion away from him.

Alex watched as Sami sat beside him. "You didn't have to come back....." he said, coughing and looking away. It was just awkward. It was his fault in the first place!

"Do you want to know why I ran away?" she asked after a few minutes. She thought it was really night that he haden't asked.

"Uh..sorta, yeah." Alex nodded, looking over nervously.

"You probably already know... It reminded me to much of my brother. he'd always hold me like that when I was younger." she said softly, looking at the screen but not really seeing it. She thought it best that she only tell him part of the reason, she didn't want him know she had a crush on him.

Alex looked down at the floor, nodding. So it was because he held her the way her brother had. That was a deep relief. "Well, I'm glad that everything's ok though...I-I mean between us I guess." he muttered, smiling at Sami and looking back at the movie, it was already close to the end.

She nodded. "Yeah." She said and watched the movie. It wasn't as scary as before. She had no idea what was happening and she wasn't really into it anymore. her mind was in different places.

Within a few minutes, Alex yawned and got up, putting the dvd disc away in it's case and turning off the DVD player. "So, off to bed or is there anything you want to talk about?" he asked, just making sure he wouldn't leave Sami with words in her mouth.

Sami didn't even notice he was talking to her. Slowly she looked at him, her face blank. "Huh? oh! No, I'm fine." She stood up. "So, off to bed. Good night." she said, the last two words showing her accent again.

Alex blinked, but nodded. He got up, walking upstairs to his room as well. Yawning, he took off his shirt and got into bed. He couldn't possibly sneak onto the Xbox cause his dad would know. He had good hearing. "Night." he said from across the hall, hoping that Sami heard as he closed his eyes and turned off the lights.

"Good night." She replied, getting into her pajamas. Sighing she got into the bed, trying really hard not to think about her family.

Soon, Alex fell asleep, thanking god that tomorrow was a Friday. Still he felt bad for what he accidentally had done, but, it seemed all was forgiven.

Sami didn't sleep well. She tossed and turned all night, having dreams of her brother and his friends. She woke up that morning crying.

Alex sighed, opening his eyes and getting up. Last day of school for the week. He headed to Sami's room, knocking . "Hey, time to wake up." he said aloud, yawning and hearing his own dad's snoring. It was his day off today.

Sami opened her door with a fake smile on. Alex would be able to tell that she was crying and that the smile was fake because he might understand how she felt. "I'll be right down." she said, trying to sound normal.

Alex stayed quiet, seeing the red around Sami's eyes and even a small crack in her voice. She must've been crying. "What's wrong?" he asked in a soft voice.

Her smile went away and a little bit of the sadness showed through her mask. "I don't want to talk about it..."

"Are you sure?" Alex asked, leaning in, just worried as he saw her face change a bit.

She nodded. "Yes, I'm sure. I'll be down in a little while. K?"

Alex nodded, sighing. "Sure. I'll be getting the poptarts ready." he said, going downstairs. He was still in his shorts but either way, he would get dressed in a few minutes. He was more worried about Sami than clothing at the moment.
