Ryder felt his fangs begin to grow and slowly pulled back. "Should we go check on Jedi," he asked, chuckling as he saw her little fangs. He kissed her lips again, running his fingers through her hair.

She shook her head. "No... Jedi know's his way around the house." she mumbled, kissing him again.

He growled softly as he kissed her, growing hungry for her again. He pulled her closer to she knew what he wanted.

She groaned against his lips and held onto him. "Bed room?"

"Yes," he grunted and lifted her up into his arms.

Olivia slowly left her mother's room and went to hers, contemplating. She didn't know what she should do.

James stayed with his mate, holding her hand. "You okay, honey," he asked her softly. He didn't want to lose his mate. He loved her more than anything. But he wouldn't make her give up the baby so she would live.

She nodded, her free hand on her belly. "Yes, I think so... At least I hope so." she said softly.

He kissed her forehead. "I love you," he told her gently.

She nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck feircly. "I love you, too. So much. And I'm going to try really hard not to leave you."

James held her close, held her tightly. "I would appreciate that very much," he murmured.

She nodded. "If I die you're going to want to come with me." she said softly. "Please don't. If the baby lives I want it to have at least one parent."

"I promise," he whispered, holding her tighter.

"Thank you." she whispered, holding onto him tightly.

"I love you," he whispered and kissed her tenderly, like any kiss could be their last.

She kissed back, holding onto him. "This is the first and only time that we're going to be sad." she said, pulling back. "I want to be happy, not thinking that I'm going to die."

"I won't be able to stop thinking that, love," he told her. "Especially as the birth grows closer as your stomach does."

"Please?" she asked, taking his face into her palms. "It would mean a lot to me."

It broke his heart, but he nodded and kissed her tenderly, holding her close.

"I love you." she said softly. She knew it wouldn't be the way she hoped it would be. They were both going to be sad and a lot of the time their smiles and effort would be fake, but she didn't care.
