She nodded, sighing. "Then something will be figured out."

Ryder sighed, shaking his head. He didn't want to think about this now. He wanted to be happy with his mate, not brood over what would happen to his cousin.

Lilli smiled slightly and moved into his arms. "Your family is smart, they'll figure something out."

He hugged her and kissed her forehead, nodding. "You're right. I think we left Jedi in the kitchen..." he though aloud with a chuckle.

"If he's not here then he's still eating the steak." She smiled.

"Savoring the taste. Smart dog," he chuckled.

Lilli smirked and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'd like to savor your taste." she said then blushed. She'd never thought of saying anything like that.

He chuckled and kissed her, holding her close.

She smiled and leaned against him, smiling.

Baily came out of Fairly's room and saw them and smiled. "I may be mistaken but it looks like you two have mated."

Ryder smiled at his mom. "We have," he said happily.

Baily squealed and hugged them. "YAY!!!"

Ryder laughed and hugged his mom. "I'm sorry I worried you," he told her. This was the first time he'd actually spoken to her since he'd turned rogue.

She smiled. "I'm just happy for you." she said softly, it was obvious on her face.

He chuckled. "I am, too," he nuzzled his mate.

Lilli smiled, nuzzling back.

"oh... I have to go tell your dad!" she smiled, bouncing off to tell Damon.

Ryder chuckled and kissed his mate again. "Do you think she's happy," he asked.

"No." she teased. "Not at all. I think she's quite miserable."

He pouted. "Whatever will we do," he teased along.

"Move out... elope..." she smiled. "That's the only thing we can do."

"But my love," he chuckled. "Being mated is far more serious than being married. We are mated for life."

"Forever." she corrected with a smile.

"Forever," he smiled, kissing her lovingly.

She kissed back, holding herself close to him.
