He covered her in a blanket and carried her to the kitchen, making sure the blanket covered him as well. "How about this," he chuckled.

He kissed her lovingly as he sat her down on the kitchen table, making sure the blanket was covering her completely so she wasn't sitting on the cold wood. "What would you like to eat, my love?"

He chuckled, running his fingers through her hair. "You want to eat your hair," he teased, kissing her softly. He couldn't stop kissing her, he realized, and he didn't want to be out of arms reach of her.
