My Past Will Not Haunt Me ~Private~

" I thought I'd never have a chance because well..of what I was. I can either appeal to women or women have the sense that something isn't right about me and they just shy away. Being a vampire is a curse more than anything. But what I didn't realize was your mom taking small glances at me. When I did end up talking to her it was like cupid was right there arrow fired. " He said.

Dawson reached into his back pocket pulling out a worn leather wallet. " I have a few old pictures..." he pulled out 3. One was of them in the park him pushing her on the swing. Another was of her laying in the grass smiling up at the camera which was held by him on one forgotten summer of thier youth. Another was of them kissing. That was taken by one of thier close friends just to pull t hier leg but he ended up liking it. " She was very beauitful. And very strong willed. Man if you did something wrong she'd let you know quicker than lighting. Heh, I once forgot about our year anniversary ( Stupid me) and she wouldn't even see me till I did something so romantic that she had to forgive me. What I ended up doing was going to her window late at night and played our love song on my guitar and climbing up to her room and made love to her. " he said looking at the pictures fondly. " I never stopped loving her. And to be honest. I don't think I ever will. She means so much to me. And I wish she told me she was pregnant with you." he said gently.

" I missed so much.." he said softly. He gently stroked her hair. He wanted to grow close to his daughter that he just found out he had.

" Hey there." Dawson smiled. " I was just showing Jean some of our old photos when we were teens" he said.

Dawson smiled softly, " I have the women of my life sitting right here. You know what lets go out and do something today"

Dawson had completely forgotten the tiny detail that Jean had a boyfriend and that boyfriend was the father of her baby. " He can come if you want." he said gently

When she left Dawson hung his head. " She doesn't like me..."



Adam was making breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham, sausage... ok he loved meat but that was the wolf him.

[font=segoe print]"No," Ruby said, shaking her head. "She does, I can tell. If she didn't like you, then she wouldn't have so easily accepted you as her father. I know our daughter. She's very stubborn and serious about the people who are close to her. Right now she's just afraid. Notice how she hardly even looked at me." Ruby murmured, her voice said.

Jean walked down the stair steps, sighing softly. She caught the scent of all of the meat cooking and felt her stomach squirm slightly. Already she was starting to get a sensitive nose. It wasn't even the meat that was making her feel sick, but the grease that the meat was creating. "Hey." she said softly, walking into the kitchen. "What's cooking?" As if she couldn't already tell.[/gont]

Dawson sighed gently and kissed her lips gently.




"Breakfast" he smiled and nuzzled her affectionatly.

Dawson went outside.


" You don't want to spend time with them?" Adam said gently.

" why? Are you scared they'll bite or something." he teased playfully and nuzzled her cheek. " I thought you'd be happy to go with them. But then maybe all you see when you see th em togeter was that previous night. Look they obviously missed eachother's embrace. I mean I would if it was our case ( and I did when we broke up). " H e shrugged.

Adam nodded his head, " Well I understand this but you gotta see that your mom hasn't changed from the inside. She's still your mom. She changed to be with your dad and I think that after all these years without the person she fell head over heals for made her hallow. Now that she has him she feels alive and happy again. Maybe this is your chance to get to kn ow the real feeling of a complete family and hun, we'll soon be starting our own family" he said softly placing his hand on her belly.

" I didn't mean it like that...." Adam sighed softly.

Adam whinned softly and went to find her mom.
