It's a Love Story

She nodded nervously.

He rubbed her belly softly and kissed her lips. "It'll be okay." He said, reaching into his pocket and handing her his phone.

She took his phone hesitantly and dialed her mom's number before pressing the call button and holding it up to her ear.

Aiden kissed her cheek, wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her close.

Mike answered Lilli's phone while she was getting dressed. "Rosie? Everything okay," he asked her.

"Y-Yeah, dad," Rose lied. "Can I talk to mom?"

"Yeah, she's getting dressed. Wait just a minute," he said and handed the phone to Lilli when she was dressed.

Lilli answered with a smile in her voice. "Hey sweetie. How's Rome?" she said, meaning the place, not her daughter.

"It's great. So beautiful," Rose said. "Uhm... Mom? I need to tell you something..."

"Sure, honey, what is it?" She asked.

"W-Well... I, uhm... I...." she took a deep breath and just blurted it out. "I think I'm pregnant," she winced, waiting for her mother's reaction.

Aiden held Rosie close, his forehead resting on her temple.

Lilli sat down on the bed with a small gasp. "You think?" she asked.

"Well... My period is nearly two weeks late and I threw up twice this morning," she mumbled, grateful to have Aiden there with her.

Lilli nodded. "Well, if you are pregnant then maybe you should come home. Unless you want to stay there."

"She's WHAT," Mike yelled.

Rose winced, hearing her dad's voice.

Aiden felt Rosie wince and he kissed her cheek, rubbing her arm and shoulder.

Lilli looked at Mike. "rosie things she's pregnant."

"She thinks she's pregnant?" He wasn't happy, obviously. "She's either pregnant or she's not. She's coming home. Her and Aiden. We'll talk then."

"Don't get all upset." Lilli said to Mike. "She was going to have a baby eventually."

He sighed, controling himself. It wasn't that long ago that he and Lilli had been expecting teenage parents. "Little earlier than I expected," he murmured.

Lilli nodded and turned her attention back to Rosie. "have you told Aiden?" she asked She didn't know that Rosie had called from his phone.

"Yeah, I don't think he's gonna leave," Rose said, looking into Aiden's eyes. God, if he left, she'd be broken.

Aiden looked back into Rosie's beautiful eyes, shaking his head. "Never." he whispered.

She blushed and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

He smiled, his hand going back to her stomach, rubbing slightly.

"Good. Do you want to come home or do you want to stay there? I'm sure you'll be alright. Dante's mother has had a few kids and I'm sure we can find a doctor there." Lilli said, knowing Mike wouldn't like that.

"I think we should come home..." She looked at Aiden for comformation.

Aiden nodded. "We'll come back." He promised.

"Alright." Lilli said. "I'll get online to buy tickets."

"Thank you, mom," Rose said, glad her parents hadn't freaked out.
