Holly and I Only!!!

It took her a little bit as she was afraid to close her eyes, but soon tiredness did set in and she fell asleep.

Damon rested in the chair and ended up falling asleep, his arms and head hanging limply.

Baily soon wen searching for her mate, finding him in Lilli's room where Ryder had sat the past few nights. Her heart sank, probably waking her husband.

Damon frowned in his sleep and woke up, looking around, confused. This wasn't his room... Then he remembered Lilli's request and yawned, standing quietly and going to his mate. I'm sorry, love. It took her a while to fall asleep. She's afraid Ryder will escape the containment room, he explained to her mentally, kissing her forehead.

It's going to take a while for her to get over this. Poor girl. she replied, wrapping her arms around his waist.

Damon nodded in agreement, nuzzling his mate sleepily as he held her.

Let's go to bed she said, pulling out of his arms and taking his hand.

He nodded, yawning, and walked back to their bedroom with her.

Eventually, Ryder stopped struggling once the shot took affect and fell asleep. His mind wandered and reached a familiar mind. A mind that was more gentle than anything and it calmed him slightly. He didn't send any thoughts, just listened to that one mind while he slept.

After everything, Lilli was having a happy dream, but little did she know that she was dreaming the future, her future. Her and Ryder in the bed together like she wanted, two puncture scars on her neck but still the scar of his teeth on the inside of her elbow after what happened that day. She dreamed him moving down, kissing her neck then kissing the inside of her arm. She ran her hand through his hair, smiling lovingly down at him. But he kept kissing further, to her belly where there was a small buldge of a baby in her.

Ryder woke up later, howling in his hunger pains. Niko frowned, being woken up by his nephew. He knew Lilli wouldn't want to feed him, though it would be dangerous to grab a stranger off the street and bring them down to feed the boy. He sighed, going upstairs. He found Lilli's room and knocked gently. "Lilli," he called.

Lilli woke fromt he dream and went to the door. Jedi wasn't growling so she knew it was someone friendly. She opened it and looked at Niko tiredly. "Yes?"

"you don't have to," he told her in advance. "But Ryder needs blood. I can get someone to come in if you don't feel comfortable feeding him," he told her gently.

"No I'll do it." she said, grabbing a light robe that she had hanging over the edge of her bed and slipping it on.

He blinked in surprise. She was a brave one. Feeding a boy turning Rogue so soon after she'd been attacked by him. "If you're certain," he nodded and led her downstairs to the boy weakly struggling at his binds. "His sedatives are wearing off. Wait just one moment," he told her, grabbing the sedatives. He injected them into his nephew and waited until he wasn't struggling anymore before he shortened the chains so he couldn't grab anything in front of him. He motioned for Lilli to come in as he readied a tube for feeding.

"I had a dream about him." Lilli said softly, standing in front of Ryder. She felt Niko to be one who she could talk to.

Niko looked up at her curiously. "A dream? About Ryder," he asked. "What happened in the dream," he asked gently as he injected the needle into her vein like Damon had done and put the open end of the tube in Ryder's slack mouth. Once the blood reached Ryder's tongue he growled and drank it hungrily, still mostly limp from the medicine.

"Him and I were laying the bed I'm in now, kissing. He kissed my neck which had two holes, like Baily's and Fairly's. He kissed my arm, that was also scared. But then he kissed my stomach which looked pregnant." She explained, watching Ryder.

"You were mated in your dream," Niko nodded. "It may happen. But it won't be for a while," he sighed, looking at his nephew. It was obvious all that was on his mind was blood as he drank. Once Niko knew he had enough, he removed the tube from Lilli's arm and Ryder's mouth and put a cotton ball on Lilli's bleeding arm. He told her to have a seat on the bench on the outside of the glass wall and he'd be right out with her as he turned to put just a few more sedatives into Ryder.

Lilli looked at Ryder, but didn't leave. "What's happening to him?" she asked Niko.

"He got lost to bloodlust," he explained to her. "It will take a few months of very close monitoring during his feedings for him to come back to himself. Right now, he's always thirsty. We'll feed him a few ounces every day and keep him sedated so he doesn't hurt himself. Tell Baily if you sense someone in your mind. She'll be able to guard you."

Ryder fell asleep, being knocked out from the potent sedatives. His mind wandered again and rested on the familiar mind. The one that had dreamed of her and him together.

Lilli could feel him in her mind as soon as he had fallen asleep. "But what if I don't feel a threat?" she asked, not taking her eyes off of Ryder.

"If you don't feel a threat, then... Still, tell her. She will keep an eye on whoever it is, just in case. The mind is a sensitive thing, Lilli. If someone takes control of it, you're done for. It's just a precaution," he told her gently.

She nodded. "Can I go now" she asked, pulling her eyes from Ryder and looking at Niko.

Niko nodded. "You're free to go. Thank you for helping him," he told her sincerely.

She nodded, quickly walking out of the room.
