Holly and I Only!!!

She nodded and leaned against the back of the tub, welcoming the warmth. She closed her eyes, relaxing.

Ryder listened to her heart as he relaxed. Once her heartrate slowed to a certain point, he looked over at her. "We should go cool you off," he murmured, lifting her up bridal style. She was more limp than he'd like her to be. Then again, she was very relaxed.

"Why?" She asked, holding onto him. "I'm fine..."

"Your heart has slowed too much," he told her gently, wrapping her in a towel and sitting her out in the hallway. He sat next to her, drying her hair with the extra towel and keeping it off of her neck so the cooler air would take it's effect.

"But it was relaxing." she mumbled.

"I know," he murmured softly, trying to cool her down.

She sighed, leaning against him. "Thank you for taking care of me."

He chuckled softly, gently pushing her wet hair out of her face. "Anytime," he murmured.

She looked up at him and smiled. "Do you do this with every girl that get's to hot in your hot tub?" she asked.

He laughed. "Well, you are the only girl who I have ever brought home, let alone taken into my hot tub."

"So, so far, it's a yes." she smirked.

He chuckled. "No. You are the first," he said and took a second to listen to her heartbeat. Almost back up to normal, that was good.

She chuckled. "can I have a glass of cold water?"

"Yes," he said and picked her up bridal style. He carried her to the kitchen and set her down in a comfortable chair and got her a glass of water from the fridge. "Here you go," Ryder handed her the glass, watching her carefully.

"Thank you." She smiled, drinking the water.

He smiled and nodded. He finally stopped watching her so closely when her heart rate was back to normal and it didn't appear as if she would pass out. "Feeling alright," he asked, just to make sure.

She nodded. "I feel fine." she smiled.

"Good," he smiled. "We can go back in the hot tub if you'd like. I'll just bring a pitcher of ice water this time," he chuckled.

She chuckled and shook her head. "No, I'm okay."

"What would you like to do now," he asked.

"I'm not sure. What is there to do?" She asked.

"Well, it's my turn to patrol tonight. I've got to leave in two hours," he said, looking at the clock. "We can read or play a game or whatever," he shrugged.

"Do you have any card games?" she asked.

"Sure," he smiled. "They're in the library."

"Will you play a card game with me?" she asked.
